i think that dadrock is going to be replaced with somthing like dadpop. i thing the vast variety of genres and the comparable famestatus of so many artists in the different scenes make it hard to have iconic dadrock bands like uriah heep of deep purple. so i think it will probably JB, Rihanna, beyonce lady gaga and stuff because these are the really famous musicians of our time

nowadays music is directed literally by two companies that put everything on the radio

so while you had variety of music that was actually quite good in the past, now you have maybe a couple real talented people for every 100 pop stars. I consider Amy Winehouse to be one of those, I do not consider Kanye West to be one
