It's an æternal struggle between our love of underage female leads and oscillating hatred for cartoons
Coraline
That was beautiful.
Couldn't put it any better myself.
Its underrated if anything. The music and animation were amazing.
had no charm
>implying they used stop motion
What a crock of shit.
Holy fuck, you fucking idiots. I know it's Coraline. I was wondering where exactly the gif is from.
Jesus fucking christ you people are stupid.
Bu-.. bu.. but it is.
Fucking love the music

I think the movie is pretty good, interested in reading the book it's based off of.
Naah I saw this with the first girl i ever fucked she was a latin whore and loose as fuck and dont have good memories of the slut so no i dont like this film, fucking bitch
To what extent should a personal event unrelated to a film affect the way you perceive and criticize sed film?
normie
You just associate memories with certain things. There's some bands I don't care to listen to anymore because it just reminds me of one of my exes. So every time I hear it I cringe so hard I think my face is going to implode.
I like the Shadmans version better
youtube.com
i like it when they throw in stuff like this
I remember a thread where OP had a Coraline doll and he slowly undressed it

If I inbutton these, will you die?

The Nightmare Before Christmas
but the film is steeped in it, user
Paranorman
2009 was the best year for Stop Motion.
Coralline, Fantastic Mr. Fox, and Mary and Max all got released that year.
Ghost Bride is underrated.
Good until the plot became a video game.
>You have to collect the three stones to reach the next level!
same brah, the coraline/violet crossover needs to continue
damn, i didn't even realize how awesome the music was because i was so focused on the visuals
>DON'T LEAVE ME! DON'T LEAVE ME! I'LL DIE WITHOUT YOU!

Mr. Bobinsky has a liquidator medal. It was awarded to those that participated in Chernobyl cleanup. It explains why he eats raw beets.
Also why he's fucking blue.
>raw beets
explain
Get off the internet Evan
Radiation destroys your hemoglobin, and beets are good for rebuilding your hemoglobin.
This transformation concept art is creepy as fuck.
there was a village close to chernobyl where cancer wasn't nearly as prevalent as it was even in villages and cities a lot further away. it's hypothesized that it's down to their diet consisting largely of raw beets.
It reminds me of Scary Stories To Tell In The Dark.
First one to sew buttons in their eyes gets to stay in my world forever!
For a modern kids movie Coraline was surprisingly creepy. Nice change of pace from how sanitized a lot of children's media feels
I remember watching this on plane when I was 12. It scared the crap out of me and I refused to watch it in school. I think I had like 3 or 4 nightmares about it.
You should really go back and watch it, it's very underrated.
I'm gai for all things Gayman.
I've already seen it twice though
I like Shadman.
m-more
It's a dark kids mystery movie that is actually for kids. "Le quirky girls" are equipped with the tools to come to their senses, eventually - unlike all those princess movies.
