Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster

>cate blanchett in capeshit
cry some more faggots
>Cate Blanchett
>Jeff Goldblum
>Karl Urban
Welp add more fantastic talent to the list of capeshit wastes
Could we actually have a good Thor movie here????
>Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster
ok now this is a good casting
>Grandmaster
Who the hell is this
>Jeff Goldblum
KINO COMFIRMED
>director: Taika Waititi
it's going to be hilarious.
>yfw thor goes from having the worst marvel movies to the best
>Karl Urban
>Skurge
Uhhh
we might have
>
A Black Valkyrie
Fuck this shit
...
>Thor
>Good
He is the Flash of MArvel
Wait I thought Cate was already in Dr Strange
>iron man went from best to worst
>Thor went from worst to best
MANLETS BTFO
>Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster
>Karl Urban as Skurge
MARVEL DOES IT AGAIN
Is the director good? Who's directing?
the boss of Benicio Del Toro's collector
Thor=Opposite Iron Man saga
2 shitty movies to begin with and a perfect 3rd movie contrasted with Iron Man having a great first and horrible last two movies
I wish Carl Urban was filming Dredd 2
ach mein Gotze
>no Hershlag
>no titcalf
Dropped
>Iron Man 3
>bad
still butthurt about mandarin`?
Im happy for Jeff and Karl. They deserve some good money for the great stuff they already did.
Not happy about Thor being a coal burner.
Completely indifferent to Hulk: the incredible memes
I didn't say anything about Iron Man!!
Its Taikai Waititi, aka the guy who made What We Do In The Shadows which is fucking awesome
first Tilda and now Cate
I thought it was a common agreement that real Mandarin dodged a bullet from appearing on that crap movie.
I also enjoyed Ben, literally the only enjoyable thing of the movie.
Movie still shit.
>the woman from "Dear white people" playing a character that was supposed to be white and blonde
Very progressive
>no dead weight
best thor movie ever
>iron man 3
>muh PTSD
>muh terrorism is a lie
>muh kid
>muh poor mans lethal weapon
>muh incredibles rip off
>good
Go away shane
It might actually be good without those two terrible nails on a chalkboard meme actors
Nah, just the fact that it was shit compared to the first. I like 3 desu but it is much weaker than 1 but miles ahead of the abomination of 2
>Hulk
>not Horse Thor
So is Thor going to die in this or is the Ragnarok name just an obvious bait switch?
Will Herschlag pick up the Mjölnir?
>Jeff Goldblum as Grandmaster
Where Idris?
Gotze
Have you ever seen a main character die on a Marvel flick?
I could be wrong, but seems to me Thanos won't appear and it's the elders who will try to get the infinity stone in this one. Marvel looks to be adapting the elder vs Galactus story arc published in silver surfer but replacing galactus with thanos.
>So is Thor going to die in this or is the Ragnarok name just an obvious bait switch?
He probably will (but not really), only to be resurrected during infinity war by the infinity gauntlet
>Will Herschlag pick up the Mjölnir?
Portman is not in the movie.
He's in it, apparently with a much bigger role, hopefully as Thor's sidekick buddy. Idris wouldn't renew his contract if they wouldnt give him more screentime
why does natalie look ubcomfotable here
what's wrong, was it 2deep4u?
>Dindu Nuffin Valkyrie
KILL ME
No, he's butthurt because it's boring with a second act that goes nowhere and a climax that fails to give us any exciting action that they tried to distract you from with CGI shit flying in the background while Iron Man runs around with a fucking handgun.
>>muh PTSD
>>muh terrorism is a lie
>>muh kid
>>muh poor mans lethal weapon
Literally all of those elements worked
the cringe
why use norse mythology like this?
Isn't this the worst kind of cultural appropriation?
Is it "ok" because it's "white"/scandinavian?
Holly shit i loved that movie
Can't wait for Ruffalo to steal the show from him lmao
in the comics Thor sorta dies but in asgardian fashion. He's sent to Hel the domain of Hella, there he grows a badass beard and escapes back to Asgard after a while.
Oh now I fucking get how hulk is going to be in space
he's going to be "collected"
Throw a few more on the great list of wasted talent:

>Rene Russo
>Anthony Hopkins
>Tommy Lee Jones
>Toby Jones

>Guy Pearce
>Garry Shandling
>Ben Kingsley

>Amy Adams
>Michael Shannon
>Laurence Fishburne
>Diane Lane
>Russell Crowe
>Lee Pace
>Glenn Close
>Benicio del Toro
>Paul Bettany
>Judy Greer
>Michael Douglas
>Jeremy Irons
>Holly Hunter
>Benedict Cumberbatch
>Chiwetel Ejiofor
>Mads Mikkelsen
>Tilda Swinton
>Cate Blanchett
>Jeff Goldblum
>Karl Urban
I hate that you're probably right.
Flash is based
hes busy playing nigger cowboy
>cate blanchett is Hela
T-the leak was TRUE!?
So Emily Blunt will be Captain Marvel?
Does he actually go to Hel or is it just like the Odinsleep and he just imagines himself there as a kind of a vision quest?
>Glenn Close
>Rene Russo
Cant remember their roles
>Michael Shannon
>Russell Crowe
Great roles, what are you fucking talking about?
>why use norse mythology like this?
No copyrights, it's public domain. Dc published a thor of his own decades ago for a short time too.
Nice, Cate and Chris representing Straya. Could be a decent movie.
They gave portman the boot.
Kat Dennings should play a double role as darcy & enchantress
Cool
Im sure their talent will be properly put to use
Maybe Marvel can recast Chris Hemsworth if they are serious about upping the acting quality in this film
>Cate Blanchett as Hela
Literal Goddess.
is Hela the first boss villain in the MCU?
>Skurge ends on Earth
>post credits scene
>I'm here to talk to you about the Masters of Evil
>jeff bridges
>wasted
>TONY STARK BUILT THIS IN A CAVE! WITH A BOX OF SCRAPS!
>Hugo Weaving
Weaving was pretty much the only good thing about First Avenger. It's a sad fact that he'll never do the role again.
I hope so. Liked her in All You Need Is Kill
Nono he goes to Hel. It happens in the Walter Simonson's run on Thor in the mid eighties if you're interested, one of the best run on Thor ever published. Very famous run for comicnerds.
They're completely ditching the boring Earth stuff and focusing on cosmic adventures combined with a loose adaptation of Planet Hulk.
It sounds like a winner to me
>Cant remember their roles
Glenn Close is the top cop in GotG.
...
>good amount of discussion about infinity war
>good amount of discussion about black panther
>good amount of discussion about thor ragnarok
>good amount of discussion about doctor strange
>zero discussion about GotG Vol. 2
Is it just the lack of info about the movie? It's the next in line after Doctor Strange but no one seems interested.
>Throw a few more on the great list of wasted talent:
>Jeff Bridges
Stopped reading there. Jeff Bridges was fantastic in that role.
>Ragnarok
>no Surtur
>but no one seems interested.
There's nothing to talk about yet other than Kurt Russell being cast as Starlord's father.
It's not coming out for a year and we know very little about it.
The world and Sup Forums will explode when the teaser drops
because its reddit the sequel :^)
its probably lack of info
never understood the appeal of her in anything.
...
...
She has that old lady charm.
I was expecting Thor 3 to be kinda okay now that they got a good director and got rid of Earthling crew now I'm even more optimistic
Which A-listers haven't done any capeshit yet?
I disagree with most of this list, except for Lee Pace. I loved Guardians, but he was so underused.
What about Loki? He's in it right? What about Hopkins?
Go be butthurt somewhere else, familio.
So are they just skimming over World War/Planet Hulk if he's in space?
Also I can't really get over the fact that they are casting Tessa Thompson as a character that is so fundamentally aryan.
returning cast:
Thor’s new cast members join returning stars Chris Hemsworth (“Rush,” “In the Heart of the Sea,” “Ghostbusters”) in the title role for the fifth time; Tom Hiddleston (“Crimson Peak,” “The Night Manager,” “Kong: Skull Island”) as Thor’s adversarial, adopted brother, Loki; Golden Globe® and Screen Actors Guild Award winner Idris Elba (“The Dark Tower,” “Luther,” “Beasts of No Nation”) as the Asgardian sentry, Heimdall; and Academy Award®-winner Sir Anthony Hopkins (“Silence of the Lambs,” “Nixon,” “Hitchcock”) again portraying Odin, Ruler of Asgard.
Apparently Keaton returned to negotiate to be the main villain of Spider-Man. I like Keaton, but Vulture is one of the shittiest villains.
Hopkins never gave a fuck about the Thor movies and has already said that he's not interested in doing another one.
>Keaton
>As Birdman
Is it not more likely he'd be cast as Osbourne seeing as he's rumoured to be the big bad in the background?
At least it's not Kraven "The Hunter" Moorehead
You haven't even seen the Marvel movies some of these actors are in, famgarden. So it's a little premature to call them "wasted talent."
He's returning for 3 though.
