cowpunk and psychobilly are punk genres with country instrumentation.

Clearly you've never listened to actual dubstep before. It sure as hell doesn't sound like Skrillex mate.
It's called jungle
Nah. she's gotta pig nose.
Can you just fuck off you neckbearded pseudo-intellect? There's one of you every time the word "dubstep" is mentioned.
Yes, dubstep in the literal sense is more hollow and contemporary sounding. What's your point? Is there one? Do you feel good about yourself for knowing that?
What the fuck are you on about? It's not like it's some big secret that dubstep was a thing prior to Skrillex and co.
Absolute ignorant moron.
Just shut the fuck up you absolute faggot
I'm aware of that, sir.
I'm saying you're a fedora clad neckbeard for constantly bringing it up where it bears zero relevancy.
Yes, there exists a dryer and less flashy version of mainstream EDM. Thanks for the update, nobody asked.
>OP wishes dub + dubstep was a "real genre"
>point out that this has already existed for years
Chill out you sperg
Except that your hipster shit dubstep sounds nothing like dub at all.

Genre of electronic music originating in Chicago. Inspired by jungle/chicago house, it's pretty much just sample heavy 160bpm dance music typically produced on beat machines.

could this really be considered jazz? It sounds to me more like noise mixed with stoner metal / rock. Some instrumental jams from bands like corrosion of conformity and sleep come to mind. There's not really any variance in the music, just jamming in the same key at the same speed with a wall o' sound approach. Don't get me wrong, its awesome, i love stoner music, but i dont think it fits the criteria to be considered jazz
No, Black Bombain did a collab with Peter Brotzzman. It was stoner/sludge metal with jazz horns on top

>Shoegaze Fusion
You might hear something similar coming out of Minnesota in late 2017. My band plays weird prog-ish rock and I've almost finished assembling a shoegaze worthy pedal board and we'll finally have time to record stuff. It wont sound so much like actual jazz fusion but we try to use jazzy chords and odd grooves as much as we can.
I'd like to see "glitch folk" happen. Normal singing over the strangest of computer/equipment generated sounds.
