Yea they did because David Ayers was really going for a dark and gritty film like Fury that he directed. But DC didn't wanna pump out another homeless superhero movie. Which for DC I think is bullshit. If you read their comics, there's only like one or two actual jokes that are meant to get a laugh from you, most others are dark metaphors and shit.

I think we have seen. Although I enjoy BvS somewhat (everything besides Jessie Eisenberg can be enjoyed) it still sucks. Suicide squad is a flashy edgy teenagers gritty movie. Justice league looks like a bunch of shitty sitting around, doing nothing but telling jokes, the only thing that looks good is Wonder Woman and that's because I enjoy anything WW1 or 2 oriented.

I saw it, it really isn't that, bad but at the same time it isn't a really good movie either. Leto's joker really wasn't anything special either and he has a pretty small role in the movie, he contributes little to the plot

I thought the avengers movies, guardians of the Galaxy, and Deadpool were good, bvs was shit, and I thought suicide squad was good. If you like superhero movies then you'll probably like this one, but if you're more into action movies alone or comedy movies alone then you might not.

You can take my word if you want, but in the end it's your choice. The first 2-3 episodes are seemingly pointless, but as the season progresses, it gets exponentially more worth it.

What was good about daredevil was that within the first episode, they set up the entire skeleton for the show. It all flowed. Jessica jones expects you to be familiar with all of this already and tries explaining untold parts of the story through exposition which isn't bad, but in their case it just seems like more conveluted shit being thrown at me for no reason.

Any show where 1 episode is pointless kind of makes the whole show seem half assed.

And so will a lot of other people, some just interested in nitpicking like you, and others who just want to see an action flick. If you're worried about cannon, don't be. None of this shit will end up being cannon because Warner Brothers doesn't give a shit about comics, character development, or making a franchise. They want a blockbuster movie. And they'll get it because this movie ticks all the right boxes, as did batman vs superman, which also sucked. It must really suck to be a legitimate DC comics fan right now, doesn't it? I feel sorry for you people, I really do. Because the only reason Warner Brothers is making these movies is to cash in on the success of Marvel studios. That's it. We own the rights to batman and superman, so we know everything about DC comics and their fans!"
