American Suburbs

What happens here?

>car breaks down
>can't go anywhere
>die

> need to buy a meal
> drive 1 hr

no memes pls

who lives there? why they live there?

>What happens here?
opioid abuse, lots of drinking, trips to the nearest fast food restaurant and child pornography.

>Not knowing how to repair your own car

is it a dream for american to live one day in suburbs or its more of a ghetto/gtfo as fast as you can type of living?

Good suburbs close to a major city are nice. Nobody wants to live in OP's pic in the middle of nowhere

I'm a girl

Time stamp

what counts as close to a major city, heard americans say a hour drive to a major city is close lol.

Probably people who retire as the city is far as fuck.

Middle class and upper middle class families live in suburbia, it's their chance to have a piece of the american dream without having to be a farmer. A decently large house, with a yard -space for kids to play and for you to garden or work on hobbies and host parties and barbecues- still being able to live in a populated community without the crowd and noise of a city. Fresh air and natural scenery. America is still suffering from segregation, so more money was put into education, arts, and sports in suburban schools and people had to deal with less problems caused by low income people and minorities.

Born, raised in, and currently still live in suburb.

What do you want to know?

>tfw not born there
I imagine it must be like paradise
Full of white people, quiet, no crime, everybody is happy, they have a high school with the baseball team and the hot cheerleaders like in the movies, and they all listen to that happy american rock music for teenagers
All dressed in cargo shorts and polos with a sweater tied around the neck
I bet they even go to the church every sunday

It makes me so sad
Why am i in a 3rd world ghetto
Please let me in with the other white people

>people had to deal with less problems caused by low income people and minorities.

sounds brutal af tqbh

are there any small shops to get a few groceries within walking distance in places like these?

kind of this.

first thing that comes to mind when I see these suburbs is teen-american movies where they were going to high school had dudebros, were driving while being 16, wanting girls to go to prom with them

meanwhile here
>high school
>cliques everywhere
>no lockers
>prison-like buildings
>poor people mixed with rednecks mixed with rich and nerds

White flight was real, except a lot of the poor white people got left behind too so lol.

Currently, In some places, white americans and businesses are moving back to cities now and the low income families are being pushed out to suburbia.

No unless you lived close to a strip mall.
Everyone drives there.
I'm a city kid and I hated going to my ex girl's parent's house because there was absolutely nothing to do there besides moping around in their backyard >.< none of their neighbors or the community center had a swimming pool either.

That's why cities are on the come up, people got tired of the culture less cookie cutter life style of the suburbs and not being able to shop within walking distance of your home.

>>high school
>>cliques everywhere
>>no lockers
>>prison-like buildings
>>poor people mixed with rednecks mixed with rich and nerds

Sounds like here, except the lockers.

that's odd, i live in a pretty suburban area and there's plenty of shops, restaurants, take aways within walking distance. what do people do if they need milk quickly? just wait until their next trip to the supermarket?

I grew up in a suburb. It was nice

> America is still suffering from segregation, so more money was put into education, arts, and sports in suburban schools and people had to deal with less problems caused by low income people and minorities.

This guy is right. White people move to the suburbs because they want to get away from the niggers in the cities. The schools there are funded well, good teachers, good education
> muh arts
> muh music
> muh sports

Glad you asked because as soon as I made my last post I realized that I forgot about add that. Besides strip malls, suburbia and small towns here usually have a main street or cutesy little down town area. So that's where the shops, restaurants and some take away/carry outs and pizza shops are located. Still you'd have to drive if you didn't live close to the main street.

The county my ex lived in had two major roads, the main street (with the mom and pop shops), and the route that lead you to the interstate which was lined with strip malls, and big box stores. In between and around those roads were all farm land or woods.

>Besides strip malls, suburbia and small towns here usually have a main street or cutesy little down town area.

Depends on when it was built, many don't have that.

>4 chan
>girls
yeah sure

>what do people do if they need milk quickly?
anglo priorities

literally nothing, boring af

The vast majority are white and they are vain pleb normie wagecucks

>tfw had the typical suburbia americana childhood
>still khhv

Hahahahahaha no. When I lived in the suburbs it was like a 3 min drive to get to the nearest gas station/convenience store

>he can repair his own car
>he can't repair his own penis

Grew up in suburban NJ which is about as suburbia as you can get.

95% of businesses are closed by 9-10pm. Police sit around speed trapping cars or chasing kids smoking pot in the woods. Residents oppose increased public transportation to/from NYC despite being within 40 minute commute because "city people."

Nothing to do. Everyone stays in their homes. Few public parks, not widely used. No services provided for 12-18 y/o crowd. Median income in my hometown is around ~90k+ for households and the town is 90%+ white. Big opiod drug problem. Mostly moderate republican. A lot of old people.

It sucks. Live in a city now. Hate visiting folks at home. Never would move back. Literally cannot go anywhere without driving. Nothing to do. Boring.

why can this be called suburb? its seriously more like some town in a desert in the middle east/arab regeon

It makes me think of Las Ventura in GTA San Andreas.

Some suburbs just look soul crushingly sad.

Looks like a Las Vegas neighborhood. LV is literally a city in the middle of the desert.

American suburbs I have seen never look that shitty. they usually have forests or small towns or farmland to give it some variety. The pics coming out of LA are just absurd

Nothing really happens in the suburbs besides commuting to other places. It is where most white people are, but whites are starting to come back to the cities and gentrify them

From suburban southeast PA and I feel the same. Can't wait to move the big cities. I sort of feel sad looking at all the bewildered older people wondering why everyone is leaving their tiny going-nowhere towns

It's a human farm.

We have vast fields of wheat to farm for food.

We also have vast fields of houses to farm for taxes and labor.

How do kids go to school?
Do their parents drive them or a yellow school bus has to drive around every house to collect kids?

How do kids get back home from school?
Their parents are at work or in traffic jam and there is no public transportation in suburbs.

What do kids do as afterschool activities? Do they have clubs other than football or baseball team for boys and cheerleading for girls?

big bugs, old ppl, local sluts, pot sesions, fuck load of sun and cactus gardens.

Anything with more than 100k people

They have creams for that you know

Suburbs are awesome.
I live in one in Arizona and its great. We live on the very edge and then its just desert. We just go straight from our backyard into the desert with our dirtbikes or 4wheeler, its awesome to be able to just drive wherever, lots of little hills, best part is no one is out there to tell you what to do.

Suburbs ≠ rich white safe spaces. Compton and Ferguson are both suburbs. They are prone to decay as much as inner cities.

>posting pictures of shitty suburbs
They are all in walkable distance.

Compton is a special case. It used to be mostly white until housing covenants were banned

>yuros will never EVER live in a comfy suburb
