influences?
I actually dont know what to say honestly
I'm primarily influenced by music I'm listening to for the current week or by sudden ideas when I'm just about to fall asleep. You wouldn't believe how many ideas come about just as I'm about to fall asleep.

I've decided to delay anything new until early next year due to Christmas but things are coming along nicely.

no wave for this one i guess, i don't listen to post-rock anymore so i don't know why my music tends to head in that direction. but in overall terms, i'm basically a ripoff of Eluvium's first album.
love you my depressive argentinan parasite
forgot to mention, huge keiji haino influence as well. love him too much.

i like how thick it sounds, i can definitely see it work very well in the context of a film
like on your other stuff i like the guitar a lot, i still get some kind of western vibe from what you make, like apache by the shadows but in orbit around sirius
i like the devilish post rock crescendo towards the end of ineptitude and the freaky transition to that jolly choir music
hell yeah this is sick
cool sounds, they sound very textured when i crank up the treble

Description:
The title of Good Boy's new album, A Mouth Full, is quite prophetic of what it has to offer. Dizzying, disorienting synthesizers and vocoders, dwindling guitars, and colorful, terse bursts of energy, composed and comprised aside George's soft spoken, illusory-filled lyricism. Quite the mouthful indeed.
Support, scrobble, or review on RYM. Any feedback of any kind would be greatly appreciated. And George give some love. Thank You. :)

Since OP asked, my two biggest influences are, at least from a production standpoint: MBV and The Beach Boys
Every album of mine is just me trying on a different costume. My new album coming out sometime january is influenced by (terrible artist name) Casiotone for the Painfully Alone.

Listening to this right now, lovely. The weird organ noises almost gave me R+7 vibes. Kind of wish I could hear more of the field recordings, even if they're not the best quality.
I just remembered this really odd release someone put up on bandcamp around like 2012 (?)
it was some dude with a really deep voice, playing an out of tune ukelele, with some dark drones in the background. the cover was black and white and looked like someone covering himself with a blanket.
anyone remember what i'm talking about?
This is intriguing, almost unadulterated lo-fi. i like the sound collage bits mixed in.
>beep boop
>idk how to mix or make interesting sounds but hey at least i have some ok patterns?
as for my influences, i basically want to suck zach hill's dick.
hell i even used to do (guitar pro) math rock before!
also have vids of me being a dick on the drums i'm gonna post one b/c cringe dude lmao

it's been my worst received album yet, worse than when i put out a half finished EP.
Who's been telling you it's bad? Why are you weighing that over the positive comments? I've listened to that album four times now and I love it.
also deleting my posts now so not kill the thread so bad

new album when?
this is really good. getting 90s acid flashbacks.
getting a "stoned boys having fun with their toys" feel from this. really interesting lo fi freak folk.
might just have to get me a cassette. this is great!
I'm called The Sonar Sonar Happening
I make noise drone music for fun, I don't really expect a lot of love for it but it's quite fun to create.

Amazing as always.
Yeah dog. That sounds sweet. I'm pretty close to TX so it shouldn't be too far fetched. Loved Paw Paw's Songs.
Thank you! And yeah if you figure something out with Houston, then email me. Even if I can't perform, would love to see your show.
