they give the percentage as a ratio of votes, not as a ratio of voters
so if a single guy selects 10 out of 10 choices, the result will be that each sport got 10% vote, you assume that sport will only be watched by 10% of the people, when every sport will be watched by 100% of the polled (1 guy).
