Never understood it. Doesn't work for me
It's nice background noise.
As a music producer who did a lot in school, I cringe at the mass misinformation about audio.
One of them being a creepy pasta about binaural beats on a gameboy, when gameboys output in fucking mono.
Nor for me, it helps me sleep better though.
>creepy pasta
>binaural beats on a gameboy
People who write creepypasta just don't try anymore, do they?
It's a famous one, I wrote a lavender town remix that got somewhat popular on youtube, all they could talk about was the creepy pasta linked to it, and how it has to do with binaural beats on a device that can't reproduce the highest/lowest frequencies and has one tiny ass speaker.
I like ASMR.
Ephemeral Rift
Massage ASMR (Dmitri)
Heather Feather
ASMR Requests
Some random 3dio ear massage and weebshit ear licking videos.
Ephemeral Rift is based as fuck. He makes interesting videos and does them better than anyone else I've seen do themes/scripted videos, except maybe ASMR Requests.
There was some shit a while back where /r/ASMR got triggered over some shit he supposedly said, but he just kept trucking and making good ASMR. He might be weird and he might say some fucked-up shit, but he's still better than most.
ephem is my favourite channel too
>/r/ASMR got triggered [...]
I swear they're the worst community I've ever seen. Anything outside their narrow viewpoints gets slammed to hell.
Uncle Rift is pretty damn amazing though, honestly. The creativity in his videos is unmatched in my opinion.
Wait, what did he say?
There were some YouTube comments that I saw screencap of where he was being oddly aggressive towards GentleWhispering and he continually acts weird on his Facebook. Eh. At least it's interesting and not completely bland. It might be an act, but at least it's entertaining.
Doesn't work for me, instead I get creeped out when listening to it
Ephemeral rift is the best asmr channel imo, dmitri is pretty based too. Uncle E never fails to give me a laugh nor relax me. That margaret mask creeps me out though
Actually I'm checking out ephemeral rift, it's weird hearing asmr in english, I usually look up s korean or japanese or some other moon roon language. I find it easier to sleep with it, because I'm not listening to any words, it's just noise to me.
Pisses me the fuck off.
>s korean
PPOMO and Dana are great

I think it's pretty fucking stupid
>ASMR eating videos
Well there's your problem
Dumbass, game boy was in stereo. But you needed headphones to hear it, because it only had one speaker.
You don't know shit about retro games. Keep on cringing because of your pure ignorance on 80's hardware. Fucking cringe lord.
Anyone that actually lived in the 80's and had a gameboy knew it was stereo. It even said it in the fucking ads back then. It was marketed for it's stereo. Go an hero.
>shitty unknown channel where some chick eats shitty food
Yes, it's shitty when you listen to shit ASMR videos. Get good.
Why don't you crawl back to your beloved 80's and stay there you massive autismo neet.
You know how many kids I saw playing a gameboy with high quality headphones?
Literally zero.
Even if it does out put stereo, it still only had one speaker, and I'm betting a lot of musicians didn't bother writing in stereo.
How does on write a song in mono?
??
Nearly all original gameboy games had stereo music.
This is now a GameBoy music thread.
You set all your instruments to record/output in mono, render it out in mono.
Stereo you get to toy around in panning, even have panned fx, but recording in stereo is a lot of the same steps.
currently have 4.6GB of it, love it, it's next lefel
