After listening to El-P's solo albums, I can't help but feel like he's holding back his more experimental production on RTJ. The beats are ok on RTJ 3, but they're nothing compared to FanDam or ISWYD, both of which are albums that I think fit the RTJ vibe pretty well.

Jenny Death is kind of overrated, it has the strongest first half of any dg album but the second half, ASIDE FROM ON GP which is one of the greatest songs ever written, doesnt hold up but it is still a great album

No. Black Smoke Rises barely forces two genres together while death grips incorporates harsh noise into their music seamlessly. Not to mention its just not a good track. Why not actually spit a verse over the harsh noise and drone instead of a vocal loop? Also harsh noise and drone are not experimental they are harsh noise and drone. Do you get that?

Death grips doesn't incorperate harsh noise into their music. there is no harsh noise. it's noisey and aggressive, but there's no harsh noise there.

Dalek are the ones who actually do it and have been doing it for longer, and more consistently too. Black smoke rises has lyrics too, look em up. it also uses vocal loops along with it, blends the noise instrumentation with the vocals better
