Sounds like you need to listen to Jesu - Christmas. Not emo, but pretty good for the "well fuck christmas isnt great" feels.
Or just listen to Snowing and use the band name as a "its totes related to christmas and winter" excuse.

That album reminded me of Boys Night Out's Trainwreck -- I loved that album.
So a few days ago I realized that I have a super limited version of that album. Only 8 of them exist. I've never had anything really rare like that so I'm pretty happy.
Got that for Christmas, been super into them lately.

I'm a newfag to this genre and just heard this and HOLY FUCK this smashed my face in.
I was literally not expecting something so abrasive, maybe just post-hardcore with screamed vocals. I usually like the more melodic side of emo but goddamn I've got to here more of this.
