Is this gap normal?

Is this gap normal?

Yes

It is hard to tell. Looks like the bolt group hasn't completely gone forward. On the rifles I am used to, there's a button on the cocking handle to push it the last little bit if it doesn't go all the way forwards. You hit the button with the palm of your hand to seat the bolt if it fails to go forwards....

Ask /k/

Don't shoot it until you're sure it's OK.

Can't, b&.

/k/ has an AR general and a QTDDTOT thread; you can ask either one.

the one where your cock should be? yes but you seem to have found a replacement

That's going to depend on the brand of bolt carrier. Press the forward assist and see if it goes away.

QTDDTOT is inactive and ARG is full of homoerotic foot porn

Bolt carrier failed to seat. Hot gasses will prolly blind you, make your face black, and when your wandering around trying to find your first aid kit, a cop will think you're a nigger and shoot you.

Bad Ju-Ju, little buddy. Invest in some quality gear next time.

NOPE... som ting wong

Tried the forward assist, nothing happened. The gap stays. Shot it before and it seems to be fine buy I want to be sure it's not a headspacing issue. Also don't want a $90 set of gauges

Will still shoot and work but I get the feeling its more likely to fail or missfire now

That gap in your freedom is absolutely normal

Dont shoot that shit till a pro checks it. blow out right through the clip and off with your hand

Why do you need something like that?

fag detected

>clip
take this guys advice. he is clearly an expert on guns n shit

i am. . ...self proclaimed

>"FAIL ZERO"
>fails

What brand of bolt carrier and what brand of upper?

yeah failed zero parts pretty cheap.. 170 bucks for a bolt carrier.. idk

Rifle is fine, the face meets up to the feed ramps just fine

Field strip and clean.
If forward assist doesn't work, bring it to an expert.

I Kek'd

No, dat gap ain't normal. Detail strip your upper, and look for crud on the bolt or chamber. If you don't have a chamber brush, buy one. You should be able to get a go-nogo gauge for a lot less than $90. A new carrier group might be in order.

Don't fuck around with a malfunction like that; I've seen upper receivers go shrapnel before.

Seems almost upper end for bcg's

Definitely worth investing in a higher quality bcg, exploding bolts aren't fun.

...

>little buddy
b-but I feel like a decent sized guy

I wouldn't worry about it, the gap wouldn't cause any malfunction based off of the way ar's cycle

You look like you have nice tits, faggot.

If you're the asshole that put 10 pounds of furniture on your upper-- only to install iron sights and a forward grip-- you need to find a different hobby.

Ream out your gas tube lately?

Fucking turd burglar.
