+big black, nmh, galaxie 500
you might want to check out butthole surfers' stuff

+pink floyd, genesis, yes
-gnr, porcupine tree
you need to expand your prog tastes my man

+black sabbath, böc

Any recommendations? I've found there's a lot of prog I just don't like, such as Dream Theater, Emerson Lake and Palmer, Jethro Tull and some others.

check out moss icon, they remind me slightly of minutemen for some reason, probably the voice on some songs

clearly you're not into the "fairy british" sector of prog (i love elp, but couldn't care less about jethro tull and dream theater stopped being good when i turned 16)

if youre into more psychedelic stuff, check out egg, arzachel, steve hillage, and soft machine

if youre into more synth based electronic stuff, check out synergy, tangerine dream, and isoa tomita (none of those are really prog, but get lumped into the greater prog circle)

if you're into jazzier stuff, try gong, khan, king crimson, and national health

if you liked magnification, maybe check out renaissance's stuff

Awesome, thanks for these!

listening to lyburnum rn, this is pretty good
