Hm. Given the vegetable video and now that Poppy has been "replaced" and the fact she isn't actually speaking anymore. The original idea was that this incarnation of "Poppy" that we've been seeing is a total fraud, an image created by handlers and that the real person behind the image cannot speak.

Maybe it's a deconstruction on how you can start replacing a model completely with a new model that adheres to the same image. Subtlety by removing her voice and indicating a new, silent Poppy is taking the old Poppy's place.

There will always be a Poppy, but we may never know how many avatars had to be used up to venerate the image of Poppy.

I thought everyone was on the same page since OP posted that specific image. ARG stands for alternate reality game. If you've ever watched Marble Hornets or Slenderman videos, you'll get the jist. Basically, people create a make-believe scenario and it is perceived as a realistic story including facebook, twitter, and other social media outlets that support the "realism" of the crafted story.

It's essentially an internet story made for realism's sake that may include elements from audience members who are also in on the fake story. It's a living story so to speak.

The Poppy persona was created as a satire of the Project Monarch conspiracy which states that all pop celebrities were created out of a vat in order to instill a form of control over people. It also uses parodies of what you might here from modern sources in media nowadays to add to it's main story.

Maybe not ARG, but still an art installation nonetheless.

Yeah you have to be pretty precise in the information you release. People go as far as hide images within milliseconds of certain frames in the video or use multiple accounts that link you to other accounts after you've solved the puzzle.

I recommend watching unedited footage of a bear. Starts off as a dark satire of big pharma and ends with... well I'll let you see it. If you don't have time to figure all of it out, you can watch Night Mind's vid on it explaining all the interesting bits you can find off the fake website promoting the fake medicine supplement used in the vid.
