I have a Sony PSLX300 and I love it

It's a bit minimal, but it has a USB port and sounds great. Completely automized needle placement and auto-return, too.

10 outta 10 cuz

digital fag here
redpill me on vinyl

got precisely the same one two days ago. amazing. i read all about how this is the cheapest one with good counterweight and it wont damage your records over time

Vinyl is great unless you're very poor. Despite all the amazing setups you see, all of it usually isn't necessary and you can get a lot of enjoyment out of pretty basic settups.

But if you're trying it out and aren't really digging it, by all means stop.

But the benefits of vinyl are:

>Great audio quality
>Warm sound
>An interesting, physical version of the music
>Big album art
>Goodies that often come with vinyl editions of albums
>Digging at Thrift Stores and whatnot is fun and not particualrly expensive
>Playing a record is inexplicably fun
>Collecting is really fun
>Easiest way to get your hands on a ton of old music

The bad:

>Easy to damage records
>More expensive than CDs or Digital
>Hard to transport turntables, and there isn't a built-in turntable in your car
>Records need to be flipped

I bought myself that blue vinyl reissue of Millions Now Living Will Never Die. It was shipped today

new vinyl are $15-25, most are at $20 range, but older vinyl are plentiful for $1 to $5 in thrift stores, it requires shit-ton of digging though. and you won't find what you're looking for 90% of the time and you'll have to find the smallest price on discogs for the record you're really in love with and it'll end up running you about $15, even used. so yeah, it's expensive as fuck.

Bump

Be honest right, this was extremely cheap and I'm worried due to how cheap it is that it's gonna fuck up my stuff.
Quality doesn't seem too awful, and nothing's been ruined yet.
At least it's not a Crosley.

Can you add literally anything else?

Issues with built-in speakers?

Got Geogaddi in the mail today, the album is soooo suited to vinyl

I don't do vinyl but from what I've seen people post they ruin records easily due to the vibrations they cause.

Fair enough, makes sense
Will look into it a bit more

I got an original copy of Low from Greece - Sounds kind of dampened as a whole, but individual things like the vocal harmonies on sound and vision are super smooth

Okonokos - My Morning jacket. A favorite of mine and sounds superb. It came in a 4 Lp Boxset type thing.

Kiss me, Kiss me, Kiss me - The cure. Another great one. The songs that sound like they should be off pornography (the kiss, like cockatoos) blend so well

Loveless. It technically isn't here, but it's a 2LP japanese bootleg from a couple of years ago. It's got some bonus songs on the second disc.I don't know how it'll turn out.

This lot

It's a collector's item and the quality from records are good but it differs depending on your setup, if you like collecting and have money to spend then I think you'll enjoy it
