correct original post:

I'm not shitposting though it genuinely bothers me that people don't talk about them more

this is fucking boring.

No. They're fucking terrible.

Rip off of this:

Listen to them both.

People (and only a very very limited few people) only gave a shit about A.R. Kane because they were black people making shoegaze.

They couldn't write a song to save their lives. That's why most people don't remember them. Or gave a shit about them to begin with.

Plebs, the lot of you

>t A.R. Kane because they were black people making shoegaze.

They predated the genre you mook

is that the real milli vanilli?

Doesn't matter. They're lumped into that because they made ethereal pop songs in the vein of Cocteau Twins. The difference is they fucking sucked.

Exhibit B
I mean...what the fuck is that?

how have we not gotten closer to progressive dream funk in 3 decades' time

Haunting is one of my favorite songs ever. A lot of shoegaze tries to create an overwhelming blanket of melancholy through harsh feedback and reverb but that song nails it absolutely perfectly. To Here Knows When comes close though.

A fantastic dream pop song

>fantastic

lol uhhhhh

A+ song, was the first I ever heard by them actually.

You've gotta be kidding.

spicy opinions

Stick to their early singles and EPs (unless you like dance music, in which case look towards the later half of their discography). They do some excellent stuff on When You're Sad (of which Haunting takes the B side), Lolita, and Up Home.

hell of a lot spicier than the music, fuck
