What did you find so amazing about this? How do you think this compare to their prior records? What kind of direction can we expect them to head towards the future?

The concept was intriguing (AI, it's consequences, etc) and musically it matches the themes well. It's far more progressive than any of their other albums, and the new drummer brings a lot of interesting stuff to the table, the songs are well constructed, musicianship is at an all time high, which, despite the memes, is saying something for musicians of their caliber. Plus they put a 16 minute song in there which has a black science man speech in it. Vocals are a little off sometimes but it's not intolerable.
Not even a massive fan of theirs or anything I just find them to be fun, and they've always been kind of a guilty pleasure. Definitely their best album though.
