Please refer to what you're actually trying to cite. DSM 5, which is the current standard, has no personality disorders titled "sociopath". The closest would be anti-social personality disorder.

No. There is ZERO distinction. You don't come to a psychiatrist to determine if you are genetically susceptible to have a personality disorder. You show up because there are clinical traits which cause a marked impairment with daily functioning. You get diagnosed based on behavior and not on etiology.
