I would say I'm a rank 60 in actuality. Zarya, Junkrat, Genji my top 3 but I switch to anything except Zenyata and Reaper

Season high was 58.. I ended at 53 they definitely need to do some work on season 2. I know they are eliminating sudden death, and adding a new rank system but the issues go way beyond that.. for example they can't be nerfin, and buffing the shit out of characters mid season.. the D.VA buff was a complete game changer this season.. not to mention the addition of ana.

I placed 54 and made it up to 68.. I learnt fast the only way to play comp is with a team.. it's toxic AF going solo.

I honestly don't even really feel like I'm that great of a player. I just solo'd up the leaderboard.

Only advice I can give is stay positive and don't trash talk team mates. Just be nice and talk to them how you would want to be talked to.

The biggest problem with ranked isn't sudden death and all of the stupid shit they are changing.. it's the solo due, and toxic players who are actually in the 30's-40's rank point teaming up with players in there 50's-60's and climbing the ranks that way

Placed around 55, ended the season 68. I have like 20 hours as Lucio in comp and my second most played is Mercy with 5. I played solo except for like 5 games. Idk why people complain about going solo.

Maybe its because I played LoL and Riot drops buffs and nerfs like 15 times a season but I never saw a problem with it. When patch time comes I just play some quickplay and spam the changed characters to see whats different before hopping back on comp.

I started climbing really quickly in solo queue, but then my buddies wanted to play all the damn time and holy shit did they drag me down. I love those guys, but they think hanzo is a good pick for every goddamn map.

okay guys I placed 53 and made it up to 68 I have a DOTA background and in general only play PVP games.. If anyone want's to know the secret to getting good it's really two things. Improve your aim, and don't get comfortable with one character.

I don't see what the big deal was. It didn't matter what you placed at. You got rewards just for finishing placements without even trying.

Plus everyone else was playing under the exact same conditions.

you are over thinking it.. did you play solo or party? if you are on a winning streak and go up 2-3 ranks call it a day play some quick match don't get rusty.. on the other hand if you loose a rank quit for a few hours come back on. I learned it's all about timing. I started playing at certain times in the day because I noticed shitty players would start coming on around mid afternoon and I would have no problem carrying games

I really think adding heroes and balance changes should be done in the off season.. A trick i learned about playing solo if you are in a team and someone leaves.. wait till it says you will receive a loss but no penalties then leave.. you will go down less then if you stay in the match and still lose, ALWAYS LEAVE WHEN SOMEONE ELSE DOES.. Just wait till it says you won't receive a penalty
