Im on my final week. After Lots of time discussing and planning. Ive made the decision to talk to an investor. and a attorney. By talking to both of these people they think it would be perfectly fine for me to open a dispensary. Im 20 and im moving me and my 19 year old wife to California to open a dispensary. im really nervous of this decision because not only do i put my life in some potential jail time. and for my business to go bankrupt. But also because this will effect the outcome of my life. weather i make decent money and maintain a shop. or i move back home to Indiana and work at a factory there. I really need Sup Forumss advice

yes but find an unserviced location and provide pot there. Oregon is viable too, and a bit cheaper to live at least in the rural areas. We also have recreational here. You could also consider Colorado and Washington.

after CO and WA it's probably guaranteed theyre gonna legalize for rec. the questions are; do you know what you're doing? is it pipe-dreamy? do you just want to sell weed or do you want to own a business? is your wife prepared for difficult times? will she support you even when shit is tough? is your credit good enough to secure a small loan if you need it? do your parents support you? are you prepared to say fuck the federal government? do you know about advertising? do you know how you'll be covering overhead like rent, utilities and the all important security? it's a big decision to be sure. maybe you can go out there, work at another dispensary and learn about the business from the inside. you could recover some of the costs of moving and get yourself a tad more stable that way also.
