If you pull a weapon and attack someone with it and it isn't a life or death situation you're either going to get your balls sued off or you're going to prison.
One of the first rules of carrying a weapon, be it a knife, gun, whatever, is that you don't pull it unless you're going to kill the other person. Using it to just injure someone until they fuck off is going to land you in in a lawsuit and/or prison, especially in your backwards politically correct country. That's why you're better off carrying mace or a taser than a knife for self defense.

Make sure you have your shit figured out before you go around carrying a weapon with more potential to land you in shit than the other guy.
