true detective season 1 and 2 have nothing to do with each other, you can pretend like S2 doesnt exist without missing any of the masterpiece that is S1

You don't need to watch season 2 though since season 1 and 2 aren't related. Season 2 isn't the colossal disaster people make it out to be, but it isn't amazing either. If you have nothing else to watch, it won't be an entire waste of time.

Twin peaks

The Sopranos
The Wire

LOST, regardless of how it ends its an enthralling ride.
Dexter same^
Supernatural - show has a lot of flaws BUT arguably the BEST mythos to ever grace television.
Person of Interest - Starts poor but once it hits its stride its gddamn glorious
24 - Jack Bauer is badass as fuck, show has some of the most badass scenes ever.
Dr Who (2005) - Some shit side chars and it has misses but the HITS will stay w/ you forever.
Justified - An extremely consistent quality show, it doesn't have a typical bad season imo, loved it.

don't thank that guy he's a god awful pleb

Sopranos

Lost

and thats about it, those 2 shows should have you covered on every front. Everything you watch afterwards will be inferior.

Mad Men

You should watch The Day The Earth Caught Fire, very underrated movie and similar to that episode.

Reminder that Canada has to literally make it illegal to show all-American broadcasting in order to force networks to show Canadian shows in their own country.

>Canadian content (CanCon, cancon or can-con) refers to the Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) requirements, derived from the Broadcasting Act of Canada, that radio and television broadcasters (including cable and satellite specialty channels) must air a certain percentage of content that was at least partly written, produced, presented, or otherwise contributed to by persons from Canada.

Face it hoser, you're outclassed.

delet this
it is purely because it is good content that it is ont he air AND NO OTHER REASON

Ctrl-F: No results for Hannibal.

Y'all have shit taste.

What is dd?

DareDevil i assume

I loved Hannibal right up till they got to the red dragon. I couldn't bring myself to watch it when I've already seen the movie. Theres probably alot of stuff I missed but you just cant replace Norton and Hopkins.

Friends
Modern Family
Constantine
Seinfeld

I became very paranoid that Friday Night Lights was a staged occurence with a few paid actors (the main guy, for one) and numerous more unknowing citizens.

It captured life in shit small town america THAT well

Richard Armitage does a fantastic job as Dolarhyde, though. I don't thnk the performances should be seen as replacement - The series is a whole different universe than the movies or the books. You missed out on an amazing season finale!

This niggah has got the right idea. got some top quality cringe and humor. good show.

Doctor Who
Twin Peaks

Shit shows: TWD but its popular

Alright shows: Breaking bad, GoT, House of cards they are not greatest tv shows like fanboys say

Great tv shows: Fargo, the knick, leftovers, Oz, Boardwalk empire, Twin peaks, Carnivale, American crime story, The shield

Objectively the greatest tv shows ever made: The sopranos, The wire, Mad men, Deadwood

Not so well known tv shows but still great: Luck, Treme, Bron/Broen

Miniseries: Wolf hall, Band of brothers, The take

anyone know any "comfy" shows...kinda like freaks and geeks, lighthearted, not forced humor no laugh track with likable character.

There seems to be a show featuring a certan console of an ancient civilsation missinf.

Pushing Daisies is my go to comfy show.

It progressively gets better, but the first few episodes are just "woah, you guys meet IRL? OMG" and "im hacking into the mainframe"

im excited for season 2 but it could EASILY blunder, they already pulled out probably the biggest twist that they can have.

Like Dexter season 1 ending, they just shouldnt have done it yet but they dont know if they were getting a second season.

Twilight zone
Lost
X-Files
Supernatural (up to about season 6)
Its always sunny in philly

Halt and Catch Fire is pretty fucking good. Like it's remarkable.

Season 3 starts in a month or two, so I suggest catching up asap.

Twin Peaks
The Sopranos
The X-Files
Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul
The Wire
True Detective
Oz
Mr.Show
Seinfeld
Arrested Development

Baby can't even write. He's too "busy"

>Supernatural (up to about season 6)
I think season 5 is the perfect place to end the show. The main story arc is finished and it feels more or less wrapped up. Everything afterwards really felt like they had no idea what they should do.

>he likes the walking pleb

Yeah i agree, i said "about" because after season 5 you can maybe go on one more season but im just ot a fan of the rest. still a good show though.

It was beautiful, indeed. Felt like the best possibile outcome. I'm still hopeful for Season 4, though. I'd love to know what Bryan Fuller wants to do with the characters after that point.
