I have a request for all of the hardcore Civil War worshipers on this board. All those dense teenagers and man-children that pretend they've been comic book fans since they were kids. Would it be at all possible for you to get something that permanently signifies your blind love for this film? Nothing outlandish or noticeable. Just something like a small 'CW' on the bottom of your left foot. Given time and multiple viewings, I was confident that your eyes would eventually open. That realisation would slap you across the face like a fat wet fish, and you'd see Civil War for the lazy, insulting, banal, disposable travesty it is. That you would ultimately understand that it’s the One Direction of capeshit. I just wasn’t expecting to see that backtracking so soon. Insecure Evansposters are lessening. Internet-assembled opinions and endless box office quotes aren’t cutting it anymore. Those of you attempting to seriously defend the film without using nonsensical, irrelevant terms like 'reddit' and 'DCuck' (and there aren't many of you) are relying on the 'it's just mindless fun' argument. It appears to be all you have left. I just want to force you to stick to your guns. Remain devoted to your convictions, instead of cowardly abandoning them and bandwagon jumping in order to follow trends and feel like you’re a part of something you’re not.

BTW, kids. I didn’t enjoy Batman V Superman, at all. And I’m a fan of previous Marvel flicks. So take a deep breath, control that agitation, and stop using those clammy hands to frantically rummage through your Marvel reaction folder looking for whichever gif Chris Evans is laughing hardest in.

I don't think they are the same, Apocalypse and Avengers/AoU/MoS is the same movie, when the whole world is at stake and heroes come to save it, but of course collateral damage is done. Civil War, BvS and X1-X2 on the other hand are the same movie, when heroes are hunted down and consequences of their destruction are implemented.
However I agree that Apoc and Civil War are basically equally good, both are mostly good with some flaws.
