Sup Sup Forums I'm over at my grandpa's house and he told me I can take two of those.
Can You help me choosing which ones?
Will do close-ups if requestes. Also placed them from best to worst condition (left to right).

the one in the middle is a must have.

first one and the third one

Go for the middle one for sure

Smash the middle one with your fist and take the one off grandpa's wrist

Close up of the first one

I'd take the fourth one. Reminds me of my Grandpa who gave his Junghans Automatic to me 40 years ago. Broken now (sigh).

The one in the middle is the only one that doesn't immediately scream grandpa watch.

However, if he happens to have a pocket watch lying around, go for that.

watchmakerfag here, none of them are really worth much, but as said I would take the vostok on the left and the geneva in the middle

the raketa on the right is also kinda nice, its basically the same watch as the vostok on the left.

that geneva is worth about 50 - 100 if its works, and vostoks and raketas arnet worth much more, but soviet watches are quite collectible, so they somewhat hold their value

>made in USSR

ok, that's pretty cool.

Close up of the middle one

I hadn't noticed that ⅗ of those watches were made in the USSR. Was your grandfather a commie?

Second and fourth watch if you actually dress nice on a daily basis. Third and fourth if you just care for their value. Second and third if you want to keep one to use and the other for special events. Dont forget to thank the guy for gifting you time, both by a watch and by spawning your mom.

>broken junghans automatic
>broken

well take it to a watchmkaers workshop and have it fixed, junghans wristwatches are somewhat valuable, working mechnicals can gor for up to 1500 dollars, allthoug if you got it from your gramps, then you definetly shouldn sell it, just get it fixed, it might cost something but if its not completely smashed it can always be fixed

Which one was up his ass?

OP here. Just to clear things up, all of them are working.
Nah, at least not from what I know.

>quartzomatic

I didnt see that.... that thing can be worth ALOT, early quartz watches can be valuable if they work

ITT the point is to squeeze the most money out of grandpa and nothing else

Sorry to disappoint You but if that was the case I would've asked him to let me take all of them.

Slightly elevated keks

Now I know, but it has gone since about 1990. First I drowned it in a brook in Scottland, I opened it and dried it. Back home I opend it and the spring jumped out and got twisted. I kept it for nearly two decades, but somehow it disappeared during a move. It had a gravure opn its back, saying "50" in a laurel wreath due to my Grandpa's 50th anniversary in his company.

>Russian made watches
>worth a lot of money
Heh

he is asking for opinions. if he was really just trying to get the most money he would look up the price of each watch.

too bad, if you ever find it, have it fixed. water damaged watches are usually repaireble, but it might be a little costly since all the pivots and pinions rust very easily and they all need to be polished afterwards for it to run smoothly

not alot, but soviet era watches ARE very collectable
