not now harvey!

No contest.

You're remembering it wrong, the John she fell in love with dies and that's what makes her moody. Also the episode where she goes to the psychic planet to search for answers is one of the show's best

But they're the same John.
The difference between them was arbitrary.
Both Johns obviously loved her.

>But they're the same John.
debatable, memories/experiences are part of what make us who we are, and at that point the two Johns had been having vastly different adventures for almost a year. Talyn-John is the one she made love to every night for months and formed an unbreakable bond with, Moya-John remembers none of this. From her perspective, Moya-John is a mere copy of the man she loves. She eventually gets over this, but it understandably takes her a while.

Yeah, you're right.
I guess I was just sympathetically frustrated.

The whole double John arc was one of the things that made the show really special.
So many other sci-fi shows have the standard doubling of the cast members schtick, but this is the only one I can think of where it actually mattered for more than an episode or two

Or bodyswapping. Or time/alternate reality travel. Any sci-fi trope you can name, Farscape either brilliantly reinvented or relentlessly mocked.
And it was cancelled for a fucking nuBSG soap opera.

>And it was cancelled for a fucking nuBSG soap opera.
Which one was that?

I think he's talking about the BSG reboot. It's a good show IMO, but it is kind of annoying how it basically replaced Farscape as Sci-Fi's flagship series and became far more popular because its grimdark nature was more appealing to a post-9/11 audience. No doubt this rubbed salt in the wounds of many fans who were still reeling from Farscape's surprise cancellation.

The new BSG was definitely different than Farscape, but I don't think it was bad.
The first few seasons were amazing.
The ending was total and utter crap, but everything up to and including the escape from the concentration camp planet was really good.

The "heah?" Was the past bart of the series easily
