listen to selling england by the pound
play metal gear solid again.
also i sure hope you've listened to joy division.
ok

im the metal gear guy

Yeah sure I enjoy JD, The Sound, The Chameleons, Josef K, Tuxedo Moon but something about TOTBL is just so cohesive and imposing to me.

listen to some of paul banks solo stuff then- youtube.com/watch?v=CuU3Nkv0xbc
it isn't as good as interpol but it'll do

A long time since I have thought of this, and I tend to listen to different types of music in phases. Though I can't give a definitive top ten rating or something, I think this is a pretty good toss up just thinking on the spot.

Man this took a while to make. Cut out some of the categories I didn't really have a solid opinion on.
Age of Adz hella underrated man, also Moral Orel is so fucking based. Synecdoche, New York blew my goddamn mind, great film. Good job.
Aw man, I've been obsessed with TMR recently, just picked up Lick My Decals Off, Baby too. Beefheart is king.
Lynch is so amazing, Patti Smith was a fantastic visionary, and Last Year at Marienbad is such a top tier flick.
Aw man Network's great. Some of the best monologues in film right there.
Eyes Wide Shut is one of the top films ever imo, great pick.

My second favorite Beefheart album is Shiny Beast (Bat Chain Puller). Give it a listen.

The Wind Rises was such an underrated career achievement for Miyazaki. It's essentially his individualist creative manifesto in the face of a wasteful, destructive society. Read The Magic Mountain by Thomas Mann.

Oh shit yeah, I was just looking at the discogs for that to pick up a copy and there's some for a decent price. I'll definitely check it out, thanks man.

abby whip

>porn
>hate it
explain?

>claims not to be a degenerate
>waifu is trap

Not the person you asked, but try eating 3g of magic mushrooms and masturbating; you'll realize how awkward and weird porn is.

In my opinion The Wind Rises is one of the greatest cinematic achievements of all time. You hit the nail on the head man, it's such a personal film for him in so many ways. On one hand I hope he comes back for more films, but on the other hand this is such a perfect swan song I sort of want him to leave his career on that immaculate end note. I'll check out that novel for sure.

Something about the concept of people fake-fucking, the terrible hyper-real lighting, the bad acting makes me nauseous. Inexplicably feel like the worst piece of shit afterwards, no matter what i watch. Also, I read about some of the concepts explored by Baudrillard (over-personification through images/ favoring the consumer product of fucking over the real thing) and it made me absolutely paranoid about my own desires.

The whole imagery and atmosphere is heavily inspired by Thomas Mann, that's why I think you'd really enjoy it. It's probably the best Bildungsroman of all time.

>favoring the consumer product of fucking over the real thing
I feel like now that this generation is pretty much all watching porn, people will start to fuck like in porn.

It has already started, most guys can't desire a woman both as a person and an object. There's this weird duality going on because we think desire should be safe and clean, you can't economize the most destructive physical emotion.

> And again...

Feels unoriginal, but it's good.
Same as the last guy.
Fine stuff (we both have Turn on the Bright Lights), great anime and film.
That's some good taste. Nice Manga.
Both have Turn on the Bright Lights, Historie de Melody Nelson would be my 11th album.
I don't know, most of your stuff is great, but nothing in special.

Top-tier anime.
Don't know most of your stuff.
Glad you pick the best Doors album, great stuff in general. Very good vidya.

>not remembering the timeline where he was a she

bland af

Nice stuff, though not a fan of any.

Oh dude, here, I've been listening to that Midori album for the past couple days and it's so fucking good. If you know any albums of a similar style throw em my way. Also Cache is top tier Haneke good choice.

Didn't know about the second thing. Now I'm paranoid as well.
If they do, please, end the human race.

Nice, some good stuff and we share a fetish. I'm btw

>end the human race based on how people make love in the privacy of their own home
:/

i worked really hard at this even though i'm total shit at it.

you're a really cool guy. maybe a little depressed but aren't we all in a way?

i don't think we'd get along well at all but you have good music taste.

good taste in some areas, okay in some others. i don't think we'd get along either.

i'd totally be bros with you. you're like me from a few years ago except probably a better person.

you're an awesome guy too.

I'm just exaggerating, of course I'm not serious. But it will be really strange to be with a girl who acts like a porn star.

>Eyes Wide Shut is one of the top films ever imo, great pick.

yeah kubrick was very good, he died soon after Eyes wide shut also, was a well done film to end on

>Don't know most of your stuff.

if i were to think of some things that are more recognizable i would definitely pick death grips ex military as a top album. not that i listen to it much at all anymore, when that album came out it was quite something.

Kraftwerk is a nice pick from you, I don't know if you would be interested in him, but one of my top 5 artists was James Stinson (one of the guys behind drexciya). A lot of people make comparisons between his work and
kraftwerk. He is kind of like a black version of Kraftwerk lol (I say that with a pinch of salt).

>visits Sup Forums once
will give you tons of props for 3 6 Mafia tho
>Hunger games
>Kunais
hahahahahhahahahahaha
>Moral Orel
my nigga
I don't get root beer at all, it just tastes like carbonated Listerine
please redpill me on root beer

Oh yeah I see what you're saying, but there's always been people who fuck like porn because there's always been fake people who make fake sex with fake emotions. I don't think the internet's going to change everything sex-wise that much, I feel that conscious people will still know how to feel real love and sex in some way.

Haven't found anything similar in style, it's such a peculiar combination. Pay a listen to Sekando if you haven't, not as good as Hello Everybody, but it's still pretty good.

>redpill me on root beer
I don't even know what to say man, in my opinion it just tastes good. Maybe you've been trying shitty root beer? I don't really like root beer that's not A&W that much.

this, most root beers besides a&w have a soapy bubbles and are shit

> He is kind of like a black version of Kraftwerk
Well, I guess I'm going to listen to him one day. Thanks.

If I were to add anything to this, I would like to represent the 'Fax +49-69/450464' label.

No problem, if you do check out his work. I would recommend these

Drexciya – Neptune's Lair
discogs.com/Drexciya-Neptunes-Lair/master/535

Elecktroids – Elektroworld
discogs.com/Elecktroids-Elektroworld/master/5435

The Other People Place – Lifestyles Of The Laptop Café
discogs.com/The-Other-People-Place-Lifestyles-Of-The-Laptop-Café/master/5383

Also, he did a lot of work with Gerald Donald. He is also pretty brilliant and similar. From him I recommend this

Dopplereffekt – Calabi Yau Space
discogs.com/Dopplereffekt-Calabi-Yau-Space/master/164521

but he also has a large amount of releases under various aliases

>Gerald Donald

Also his work as Japanese telecom.
