I honestly think that the new albums suck, I really don't understand how they went from making How To Leave Town into making Teens of Style and Teens of Denial

Aside from that, I agree with everything you've said so far.
The thing about Teens of Denial is that Will has said he wrote it in a post-graduation funk where he was basically just forcing himself to write music. How to Leave Town, on the other hand, was made afterwards, in a very spontaneous and quick moment of inspiration. I have high hopes for Wave Goodbye to the Jets because of this.

Yes, but only if you've listened to everything else. Like, even if you like lo-fi stuff, MBIKMB is better than the numbered albums.

It was pretty good, I only really liked Twin Fantasy at the time but since then I've come around to his other stuff.

honestly I'm just really glad that he made it to the big time
