The Fly

...

Ocean's 11

Nigga you cereal right now?

Man on Fire.
Meet the Parents.
Solaris.

...

I'm sure you meant the 1982 remake is better than the 1951 version.

Texas chainsaw massacre

scarface 1983
the fly 1986
cape fear 1991
ocean's eleven 2001
insomnia 2002

The Departed.

i agree with all of those except oceans 11

This is when Politically Correct was put to rest and does not matter anymore.

True Grit

Cape of Fear with Robert Deniro
I liked it.

Ben-Hur 1959 was a remake of a 1925 silent movie. Superior in every way. New one probably not so much.

Heat.

not 100% sure about this one since the original made more sense of the ending
then again the remake filled in many of the blanks, added more depth to the characters plus having a great cast and director

why are you this fucking stupid? of course he meant it, thats the poster from it and the title of the image even gives you the year...

Sure, decent movie, but not anywhere NEAR as good as the original Willy Wonka movie.

Batman Begins

> The Blob
> Angels in the Outfield
> Evil Dead
> Flubber
> Little Shop of Horrors
> The Longest Yard
> The Thing (1982)
> King Kong (2005)
> Robin Hood: Men in Tights
> Scarface

Fantastic Four 2015
Spider Man with the black chick
Iron Woman 2017
Ben Hur with black Jesus
Oceans Eight

>no, just fucking no

You can just fuck right the fuck off.

The Longest Yard? Really?! That was a great movie, but Sandler's remake was pretty much shit.

underrated post

Don't forget Annie with black annie and the Karate Kid with black Will Smith's kid.

The only sequel to surpass it's excellent predecessor:
Aliens

>The Longest Yard? Really?! That was a great movie, but Sandler's remake was pretty much shit.

This.

Also:
> Sweeny Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
> A Christmas Carol (1984)

TDK, then TDKR

terminator 2
empire strikes back

Nice trips btw. However, what about Terminator 2? Or Empire Strikes Back?

no way better than the radio series or even the television show

truth to these.

Yeah, but that's a sequel, not a remake. Also, I'd say that Alien < Aliens is debatable, like Godfather II > Godfather.

Back on topic, I'll take the 2006 Casino Royale over the 1967 Casino Royale.

The Fly. Granted, I never watched the original but, I think it safe to assume.

People don't realize the famous Bogart film The Maltese Falcon was actually the third version filmed.

Ahhh I don't know, Sup Forums always says Let the Right One In is better. I wouldn't know though because I only seen let me in

Friday the 13th 2-4 were way better than the original. I mean most people don't even remember that Jason Vorhees wasn't originally the killer.

Remakes NOT sequels, dumb assess

...

As much as I hate the new FF movies, they're still better than the 1994 piece of shit.

That was thrown together to fulfill a time limit clause to make a movie by a certain date or give up the rights.

That 90's shit was only made to satisfy a contractual obligation so they could keep the rights to thr franchise.

...

Doesn't really count as a remake as both are based off a comic book.

>Back on topic, I'll take the 2006 Casino Royale over the 1967 Casino Royale.
Not a remake. They share the same name and same main character and nothing else.

Aliens - a good but not memorable war movie
Alien - the base gothic horror movies of 70s

In other words, you are a certified idiot.

No one's mentioned the Jackson LOTR being batter than Bakshi's yet?

Old Boy

Yeah. Strictly speaking, that's true, but...two moves, same name, same characters (broadly), and the newer one is a much better movie, IMHO. Eh, close enough...

...

a fag willy wonka with spic slaves was way worse than the original

kill yourself.

Second

Not quite a remake, but still better than the first attempt at adapting the source material to film.

Scarface

Fans of the series are forever divided on this issue I'm afraind. I agree with you though, Alien is definitely my favorite of the two.
