Why do so many metal albums have stupid ass vocals? The music is good but they sound like they are taking it up the ass half the time. Especially when they scream. Any recs for metal albums with good vocals?

I know your pain, OP. While I'm not against harsh vocals entirely, I'm extremely picky about them. Here's a few off the top of my head that're more clean and melodic in the vocal department.
