Start a math/prog rock band with 2 friends. We are polished enough to do shows, and we are booking gigs for a wee or 2 from now.

>try to hurry because lul-the-guitarist-takes-the-longest-to-setup.jpg
>Everyone waiting on me to start
>get anxiety attack and get nauseous from the lights
>quickly flip on the settings of the amp and hope it works
>play whole song
>midway through the intro I realize I can't hear my guitar
>fake it through entire first song whilst trying to let sound guys know I can't hear shit
>audience looks puzzled
>still trying to get their attention
>have to wait until the end of the song to tell them
>slightly upset but trying to be professional
>turns out I was signalling to front of house
>they tell me to talk to dude behind me running a mixer
>explain problem
>tells me to go sound check
>see dude run over to my amp
>tfw I forgot to turn the fucking gain up
>get yelled at by sound guy after my set
>leave show, band and town
