I wish i was good

kek

youre probably better than you think you are desu post something

vocaroo.com/i/s1H7O6n5C37N

some NMH for you guys

eh fuck it why not
vocaroo.com/i/s0BGQAW6iYFQ

tips and advice would help

I think you're holding yourself back, and that isn't very good friend.. you shouldn't be afraid to get your voice out there, you do have potential.

learn to play an instrument while singing. will instantly make you a better singer, even if youre shit at the instrument

sounds good dude, i bet you're better when drunk
fave NMH song, you nailed it

here's a shitty pavement cover
vocaroo.com/i/s1qXfEZjGkpr

this is pretty great

I was holding back. I kept over thinking it
I used to play guitar but haven't played in years.
When I'm drunk I have no issue with going all out

English is not my mothertongue, so my pronunciation might not be quite right.
vocaroo.com/i/s0K59DZGJv26

Here's a tune i'm working on, keep in mind this is very rough.

vocaroo.com/i/s1GTnpG8BdAn

Wow, that's really good for a tune. For some reason it reminds of this song:

youtube.com/watch?v=yHV04eSGzAA

>reminds me
Fix

i'm feeling this, kinda reminds me of Lullatone or the Doopees, awesome. Got any releases on Bandcamp or something?

The Smiths
vocaroo.com/i/s0S2bW5awt1q

:^(

Oh no, I didn't write it. I'm just trying to get it under my fingers and add some Vocaloid on top of it.

If you'd like, here's a song I wrote back in 2011.
vocaroo.com/i/s01PnfPeaPTa

Not yet but feel free to subscribe to my channel. I post a lot of bass covers, Vocaloid stuff, and some original content (whenever I do come up with it) on there.

>vocaroo.com/i/s1GTnpG8BdAn
I like this

you can sing but morrissey is a hack

>vocaroo.com/i/s01PnfPeaPTa
I am a newfag, what genre is this? Really good, anyway.

ARE YOU FEEL GOOD Sup Forums???????

vocaroo.com/i/s1GuhKLdZkiM

Thanks! I believe RYM would label this dance pop as a primary genre and electropop and synth funk as secondary, but I could be wrong.

Thanks, I like moz though :,(

>mfw I like moz, but can't sing for shit

vocaroo.com/i/s0p4IygUr2uh

>vocaroo.com/i/s0p4IygUr2uh
Okay, try practicing your vibrato more and and learn to keep in tone your singing, alsto try to maintain the higher notes.

thanks, but i don't really like to sing just because timbre of my voice is meh, i'm good at playing several instruments though

my singing has always sounded like shit so i got an auto tune plugin (i just started using a real DAW recently) and put on headphones and belted out over "through the fire and flames". i got it where it sounded good, but then i realized the auto tuner wasn't working because either i'm retarded or it's just a lot more subtle than i thought it was, and my singing actually sounded good even when i just had the compressor

i think my problem was that i was trying to sing a lot lower than i think i should be singing. it's fun hitting high notes

i enjoyed this

the timbre of your voice is good, you just need to discipline it to not stray from the notes you're trying to hit. there's nothing intrinsically bad about it

>want to do smiths covers
>cant listen to morrisseys singing long enough to learn a song

vocaroo.com/i/s1UJoOpqgWuU
any tips?

vocaroo.com/i/s0cYyyayPjU1

Never recorded myself singing before. My first attempt at 'good singing'. Vocal range damn you.

Tips?
vocaroo.com/i/s0M4v3FUU9mG

you're putting no heart into it. it sounds as if you're afraid of sounding stupid

funny because it's true
I actually started playing lead guitar in a dream pop band and the vocalist we have intimidates me a little

I fucked up the ending, don't feel like re-doing it. Covered Satellite of Love

vocaroo.com/i/s1yIOkxTZ6H6

Do you have more of this?
It's /comfy/.

You're just talking over the backing track, try putting more emotion into it, even if it's Lou Reed. You have a nice timbre though

Can someone give me tips?

you know how people who have "my music is so shit lol just random garbage idk.." on their soundcloud pages usually have mediocre music, even if it's got potential? the only way you can be good at something is to either be naturally gifted or to work really hard at it and not be afraid of embarrassment while you're still bad and are getting better. i'm a singing noob too but i'd say find what range you can sing comfortably in and they find some songs that are in it and practice with them

Fair warning, this is long and boring and I had to sing and play quietly as to not upset the neighbors.

vocaroo.com/i/s1eLEqd26JUS

Was not expecting that low of a bass, but don't worry about your vocal range dude. There are not nearly enough good bass/baritone singers out there. Just practice and develop your voice and you'll be able to work with what you got.
I mean, you're just really missing the melody most of the time, even when you do happen to sing in key. Just really work on locking in the notes, making sure it all sounds right. Also maybe practice with a different song, that one sounds a bit out of your range, no one's gonna expect you to sound like Paul McCartney as a beginner.

>Eliott Smith - ballad of big nothing
I did the song in standart tuning with a horrible mic so listen with caution
I realize my voice is shit but I've never recorded myself so thought it'd be fun
vocaroo.com/i/s1DZIsUA6oOU

hi there
vocaroo.com/i/s0y4azOGAZL4

vocaroo.com/i/s1l6HNikAwJ5

I'm sick. Pls no bully I've never posted my voice before

+1

thanks. yeah you're not the first to say my singing is monotone; I am trying to work on that

vocaroo.com/i/s1ey6IIUR0pj

bad

anyone got some good songs for tenor to practice singing with?

:(

Brand new- the boy who blocked his own shot
Or
Play crack the sky

It really depends on what you want to sing like though

How is it? I didn't have my guitar so I had to just do vocals. Any tips on what to improve?
vocaroo.com/i/s1GnSAg3h18r

Why don't you just put it some octaves up or down the song you want?

What's the best way to find your vocal range and to sing songs in that range?

i like to sing along with the track and it throws me for a loop when the singer isn't singing the exact same note i am

First, get a keyboard and play the lowest and highest note you can reach. Identify if you're a bass, baritone, tenor and all that. Once you identify it look for ex: ''baritone singers''. That's it.

Sorry for all that noise going around in my house, I can't sing very loud because of people here

vocaroo.com/i/s02PMDXCorL0

this morning i decided i'm going to do my own vocals and train my voice however it takes to be able to do it
vocaroo.com/i/s0049dFJ1ur1

(because i'm autistic and want to be able to not rely on interacting with a vocalist)

Ive been taking vocal lessons lately, what do you guys think?
vocaroo.com/i/s0ZVKES5Ns4Z

i want to snug a bjork

A tenor here, request me high stuff
very cool whisper

>>(because i'm autistic and want to be able to not rely on interacting with a vocalist)
literally 90% of vocalists ive met are more obnoxious to work with than their skills warrant

though youve got a long way to go lol, good luck, a little bit every day makes a differnce

>though youve got a long way to go lol
..i don't belong here...

this is exactly where you belong, youre too autistic to sing and get feedback irl and youre not good enough yet to post youre singing on soundcloud/bandcamp/youtube (unless you really want to, the go for it desu).
what better place than here to just post random shit anonymously that will be forgotten in a few hours as you get better and more used to singing and sharing it with others, even if its just a bunch of shitposters
keep it up user

i mainly was just referencing the song kek

have an anime

Surprised when you heard that voice over Creep? Haha

vocaroo.com/i/s1P33WOiMBpt

Stop being a bitch dude. I don't have a good singing voice, or access to a guitar anymore, and I still do this shit

I merged two voices in this one, trying to get the Alice in Chains harmony

I was preparing to laugh after hearing the intro, but that actually sounded pretty on point.

Thanks, I've been working at extending my range into like a countertenor.
