The people above me smoke in their bathroom. I tried to cover up the vent, but it has positive pressure and seems to always find a way through.
I'm very non-confrontational. I'm not 100% sure it's the people above me either, but I'd be surprised if it was anyone else.
Anyway, suggestions? Do I make a better cover for the vent? Or do I fuck with the people above me? I am very tempted to smash their windshield or piss on their door or something.

If its non smoking apartments just tell your land lord. If they're allowed to smoke either ask them to not do it in the bathroom or squirt liquid ass under their door every night.
I'm not experienced with this shit. Any suggestion would be appreciated. I don't know whether it's the same people who lived there a couple years ago, but I know they were complete assholes and asking them to stop would only clue them in to who is pissed at them.

I could try talking to the property management company or something, but they seem incompetent and again, if I complain and it doesn't work it makes me a suspect.

A a year or two ago I got a knock on my door while I was watching porn on my 65 inch TV. I open a door after first putting on some pants, and there's this pregnant lady and of course I'm worried that complain about the noise from the porn. But it turns out, she wanted to complain about the people who lived between us. She lives above the people above me. They used to fight a lot and they were really loud about it. Smoke rises, so it might be the people under you. The only way smoke would fall is if they are literally hotboxing their bathroom. (i.e turning on the shower so that the steam is whats high forcing the smoke downward)

There is air flowing through the vent via a fan. I'm okay so long long as I leave my fan on, but if I turn it off air flows into my place.
I'll give it a try. I did a great job taping but there's air pressure that slowly pushes gaps over time.

Are you in an apartment? Is it a non -smoking apartment building? Tell the landlord. If they won't do anything about it, your state should have a book of tenant rights, find out what it says about smoking and show it to the landlord. If he does nothing, he could be fined or sued. Or consult an attorney. Life is too rough to deal with a bad housing situation
