t. afghan diaspora

What does it smell like in India?

Nope. I like some Bollywood music though.

>What does a country smell like

Really depends on where you are

Any anime and manga fans in India?

Can you please send some YT link? I love the music from India, both classical ans modern

Went to India in October - liked it very much and should be a great place in 10/20 years when it develops and there's less poverty. Also Granddad was a colonial officer there from 1936-39

Pic is Agra Fort

Just follow T-Series/SonyMusicIndia senpai

There is an Indian poster here who is into that shit.

What about where you live?

It's mostly good but the litter places stinks.

Nice. Did you inherit any relic from him?

How is India so far behind China? 30 years ago they were basically the same.

>indo-persian architecture
>Turkish""

I wonder who could be behind this post

Not so far. India is expected to be the fastest developing country in 2017/18.

He had to leave everything India once WW2 started so unfortunately no. But I have his medals

yeah like the Agra fort. Also 100% halal.

That being said, Vedic pre-ISlamic architecture is also based.

How does this make you feel?

because of democracy t bh. That being Said India getting to Mars is quote an accomplishment

...

Democracy should speed up progress

poo in loo first

Rude

no? why would that be the case? Democracy slows down every decision as it must be agreed upon by a majority. As opposed to autocratic china which can immediately pass and implement changes.

Unless your decision of "progress" is feminism and gay rights in which case you can fuck off to reddit

I'd actually like to see India under republican government.

Every Indian guy and girl I've talked to online have had some things in common:

>Use too many emojis
>Virgins
>Sexually depraved
>Use very weird phrases and metaphors when talking
>Have a low opinion of most Indians
>Think they're fashionable and stylish
>Love to flaunt their possessions

Many of them do this irl too. They are considered meme in my humble opinion and I try to avoid them.

I'd actually like to see India under colonial government

...

Does Indian culture and education instill regular propaganda about the British and how EVIL!!!1 we were?

Isn't India already relatively republican? Or would you rather see central government cede even more powers.

Yes.

It's Democratic republican but I'd like republican democracy.

Could you suggest me some cool indian movies?

Barfi
Kahaani
Drishyam
Zindagi Na milega dobara
PK
Talvar

All these are relatively new and I strongly recommend them.

why are indians so socially awkward and creepy generally?

Also watch 'Haider'. It's pure. I love it.

How much do you interact with Indians in a daily basis? What makes you say that?

Thank you my friend

anything by satyajit ray

Nothing man made in India is worth visiting.

See the mountains, the forests, the beaches.

Pakis and North Indians need to be slautered

How was India able to hold on to Hinduism with centuries of Muslim rule?

Sorry not a fan of his work. I'm a very different kind of person.

That's how influential Hinduism is.

They didn't in North India, they pray fucking TV stars, Donald trump and toilets

But Afghanistan, Indonesia and Malaysia ditched it for le religion of peace and Indochina converted to Buddhism.

You guys are cool

Samkhya > Buddhism > Theistic Hinduism >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Islam

Can we just leave religion out of this thread?

I've been thinking about converting from Islam to Buddhism. Anything I should know? I was considering converting to Hinduism, my dad's religion, but I don't like the idea of caste, pantheism, and cow venerating

At the time Indochina became Buddhist, seperating Hinduism and Buddhism would've made little to no sense.

Indochina was built on the foundations of a common Indic civilization shared among Indians, Cambodians, Javanese, etc and based on a mix of Hinduism and Buddhism (both Mahayana and Theravada).

The common Indic civilization only broke up after the 13th century; Indochina became largely Theravada, and common institutions and literary culture spread throughout Burma, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and also Sri Lanka which distinguished it from the increasingly Hindu India.

What had been a patchwork of Hinduism and Buddhism stretching from the Indus to the Mekong split into two distinct Hindu and Theravada cultural blocs.

>Can we just leave religion out of this thread?
c'est impossible

Good point, but why the islamification of Malaysia and Indonesia?

Oh fuck 1997 + 20

At the time of the Islamic incursions into mainland India, trade was strong between Indochina and the Indian kingdoms, and Islamic merchants and imams traveled often to kingdoms in the archipelago and were largely successful in their work
I understand Zheng He also had something to do with Islam in Malaysia
In Indonesia the Hindu Kingdoms were largely conquered and subsumed by the newly Islamic ones, whereas Malaysia had a more peaceful transition
That said, there's a lot not known about that period in time in maritime Indochinese history and why it was so successful in Malaysia and Indonesia and largely a failure in the mainland, I can't say

I like Bollywood, it's like Live Action Disney.

Probably had something to do with China's influence on the region.

nice b8 m8. Heres a (((you)))

they started their reforms 15 years before us

and ours is a democracy where everything is slower. Cant expect a dictorship level swiftness in any decisions

Diversity.

Fuck no, with democracy comes ridiculous amounts of bureacracy.

A dictatorship allows you to swiftly pass through reforms and crush any opposition-led obstacles.

not that much. Oly objectively the bad thngs like famine. No exaggeration.

>changing the ending from the play

smdh

because it is inextricably linked with our civilization and who we are. Plus regular resistance to muslim rule whenever they tried to impose islamican bullshit.

Because Afghanistan and Indo-China were never the core of the Indian civilization. Also this

>"I'm going to order something different this time and expand my horizons!"
>"B-butter chicken p-please..."

send help

Probably gets it from the English social media posts by Indians.
