So which type of writing system is the best? Which languages do you think could use a different type of writing system?

So which type of writing system is the best? Which languages do you think could use a different type of writing system?

Ideograms are the best to scare off filthy immigrants

>be japanese
>have syllables instead of letters
>say "Sonic the hedgehog" as "Sonikku za Hejjihoggu"
>it's the closest you can get with the retarded syllable system

made me think

>Koreas
>Alphabet
Wut?

>africans literally write in ooga booga

>70224176
It's an alphabet (consonants and vowels) but they group them in blocks.

Hangul is an alphabet. They just arrange the letters in blocks.

We should make a logographic English.

Korean is based

that looks fucking horrible

so inconsistent.

the chart literally shows combination of a consonant and a vowel. How is that inconsistent?

because the consontants sometimes go on top and sometimes go on the left, the vowels sometimes go on the right and sometimes on the bottom, and consonants even change their shape every now and again, sometimes even completely.

again, that looks fucking horrible.

Another world map and of course they have to put the brown color on India as always. Fucking racists

>being colorblind

I still have no idea what the fuck you're talking about. It's consistency is the very reason why its often reputed as being the easiest writing systems to learn, with some youtube videos touting they can teach you to read and write hangul in 5 minutes.

stfu you retarded gook, fuck your language.

Alphabets are the best. The Latin alphabet is the basis for the IPA because you can write basically any language with Latin letters, even those with clicks like Xhosa or tones like Vietnamese.
With abugidas, it depends. Sometimes they are logical and balanced like devanagari, sometimes they are chaotic like Ge'ez.
Abjads are SMS speak.
Ideograms are stupid. It's like writing with emoji.

Vertical vowels go on the right. Horizontal vowels go on the bottom. The consonant is scaled to fit in the block. It's not hard, you fucking idiot.

abjads have the same origin as alphabets just more complex

>bjds hv th sm rgn s lphbts jst mr cmplx

>ᛁᛗᛈᛚᛃᛜ᛫ᛁᛏ᛫ᛁᛋ᛫ᚾᛟᛏ᛫ᚠᚢᚦᛟᚱᚲ

did I say it was hard?
I said it looked horrible, which it does.

>damage controlling this hard

Arctic Canada has something in common with Ethiopia? Evidently.

...

arabic does have vowels tho they are called harakat and they are drawn on the letter ; also some letters function as vowels

Didn't know russians use alphabetical system

Imagine a writing system based purely on illustrations of penises. It would work sort of like Chinese writing. Combining different penises you get more complex meanings.

What did you think Cyrillic was?

Moonspeak?
Autism

map's wrong we have both alphabet and abjad
>high class use abjad
