Realize no one gives a shit about what you do unless it directly affects them. Also music. I rarely have my earbuds out, so I don't get bothered as much.

Just saying, thinking about all the ways you're worrying about how something could go wrong (specific to the situation leaving out the big ones like death, violence etc) can help narrow your imagination down to reality and when you go do something out almost feels scripted.

You've gotten so used to being a cave dweller, you need to re-acclimate yourself to the outdoors.
Step 1: Open all the shades and windows. Let in that sunshine and fresh air. Live like this for a few days until it feels normal.
Step 2: Take your laptop/phone/tablet into the yard and sit there for 30 minutes to an hour. Do this every day until it feels normal.
Step 3: Go for a walk, bike ride, jog, whatever. Go around the block once a day for a few days, again until it feels normal.
Step 4: Increase the distance every day, start going places with more people, etc.

Only reason i say a week because that's for something i want to do, and they Only feel almost scripted because i like looking for/at art so i didn't know what i was going to find in the first place even if what i end up getting is something common that I've just been looking for but didn't know for sure that they'd be there. Other things like the dentists i have a 6 month warning with an appointment card, i avoid the doctors for years at a time though.
