Not bad at all, their albums up to Season are consistently great, but they're probably the most overrated thrash metal band. Testament are better and if the Big Four were about quality rather than sales, I would say Testament should take Slayer's spot.

Testament totally tanked after their second album. Slayer put out three of the most important albums in metal and at least a couple solid ones afterward. I mean, The Legacy might be my favorite metal album ever, but there's no way I would consider Testament a great band overall
