The voice is kind of annoying but Its a fun song I guess
It was alright. I liked the chord changes in the chorus for sure and your singing voice isn't bad although I didn't find the verses particularly interesting 6.7/10 a good start
10/10 better than the Beatles, Stones and Who
I liked it. 6.5/10
Here's one I've been listening to a lot lately just because I'm super depressed
A bit too long for a punk song, but I liked it, sounds much older then it really is 7/10
Wasn't a huge fan but I respect it 6/10 Where's this from?
8/10
Yugoslavia, an all purpose song, for weddings, funerals, parties, listen alone in your mothers basement crying, though mostly a joke today
pretty gud 7/10
5/10 not my thing but the beat was alright
I'm gonna pretend like you posted under me... Instead of that flaming pile of garbage above you.
Don't listen to the other guy I think this is p neat. Not super neat but p neat
top-tier mom-rock
WAVVY 7/10
Yeah I'm not listening to the whole thing. I listened to the first 5 minutes. Its alright but I'm not really a fan of prog metal 6/10
3/10 neat concept but poor execution (heh) imo
9/10
Damn near perfect.
Pretty simple and conventional song overall, though I like the tempo changes between the verses and the chorus; it definitely gives a very Hispanic energy to the song. The whole song gives off a very homely, traditional love ballad feel (that's what the title seems to imply), and that's nice. 6/10 for the song, but 9/10 for the cat.
kek
I like that calm and nostalgic sound. Pretty sweet song if you ask me.
7/10
Wow, this is great. There's a lot to love about this track.
>the strange fade in to the song before the drums kick in
>the simple, yet effective piano that establishes a nice sense of melancholy befitting the subject matter
>the crisp, clean guitar playing
>the way the strings swell in prominence as the lyrics become more confessional
>just the layered instrumentation in the later half of the song
>the different possible interpretations as to the meaning of the song; when I first heard it, I thought the song was about a distant love at first sight, but the video made me think about a father separated from his child seeing him again and professing his love and that the child gives him strength despite their differences
>the metaphors illustrating this distance; for the love at first sight interpretation, the distance between them as people, and for the father/child, the distance between the innocence of childhood and the sad, dishonest reality of adulthood
>the "toy" line; it not only ties up nicely with the preceding kite line while setting up a nice shift in mood, but it fits with both of my interpretations: the toy, a fleeting attraction to the girl he's looking at that she'll lose interest in and will stray away from, or the toy, the thing closest to a kid when he's young that will inevitably stray away when he gets older, both are definitely sad interpretations and fit the melancholy nature of the instrumental
>the last four lines: he either professes his faith in the girl despite this distance and these differences and wants to start something anyway, or he's professing his faith in that kid to keep him on the right path through his childlike innocence and the benevolent truth that embodies the soul of a good child
>the fact that the video was made over 38 years to make seems to make a clear case for the childhood vs. adulthood theme I talk about
Love this one. 9.75/10.
33 years, my mistake
Glad you liked it so much I think it's a great song and video too. That's some good analysis too
Oh my god I thought this video had been lost I couldn't find it for some reason. I remember seeing this back when it came out after it was posted on a music blog. I did not think Clarence Clarity would get the level of popularity he has now because this is pretty weird stuff 7/10
Also, I forgot to add that I like the way the song just fades out on what seems like on an inconclusive note; it illustrates not only the fleeting nature of the "looking at a distant loved one" subject matter, but it also illustrates the uncertain nature of the state of their relationship after he says "You're the surgeon, so open my eyes," after he takes that direct step into the future with that person. Seriously great song, man, thanks for posting it.
it is good
atleast its short

Poignant, soft and quite sad. I like it.

Amazing Drum`n`Bass, I can only recpmmend it
I was going to say how great the intro was, but then the whole song was an intro for something that doesnt exist
Nice and comfortable, not my thing though.
>the whole song was an intro for something that doesn't exist
Like hope?
7/10 It's more likable than it should be
The music combined with the video is simply amazing
Pretty good instrumental, wasn't a fan of the vocals
sounds like strange german new wave, but i think videoclip is disturbing me a bit
6/10

can't you fucking rate the other ones fags
A fairly competent jazz pop band fills in for endearing mentally challenged singer/guitar player. The effect is eerily pleasantly mellow but aggravating to listen to at the same time. 7/10
Vids kinda gay
youtu.be
already heard, but good
9/10
gave me sweet emo feels
Thoroughly enjoyed it. the sampling at the beginning was perfect for the tone of the song. lyrics weren't all there, though, so 8.5/10
I don't know French but this was breddy gud, 7/10
7.5/10
A fitting follow up to my post as well
Nostalgic 90's hit that proves Billy Corgan actually had some merit besides being a ringside manager of a wrestling team. The song is so catchy that you don't even mind 1979 audioscape sounded nothing like the song.
- I'm out -
Have fun with this if you want it. youtube.com
expected to hate it, but actually really liked it. Her voice kinda sounds fake but it got me in a good move. Sad that holiday season is over.

this is my favorite song of all time
It's a communist song about class war.
I liked your song, it was a nice cover. Not the type of music I usually listen to but it was well-done. 7/10
I'm not too big on indeh nor neo-psychedelia but this wasn't too bad
