You dipshit, that's a cracked LCD panel. You damaged it by bending, hitting, or dropping it. You're not fooling anyone.
MOVs on the USB port prevent high voltage from fucking up your computer.
What I see in the photo is a cracked LCD screen. You can get a replacement from china on ebay for $50~$80, you will need a heat gun to remove the screen bezel, and open up the bottom part to remove the panel wiring, and then connect the new screen, and don't bother with that 3M tape bullshit, use thin gorilla tape.

That's not a crack, you fucked up by throwing it around. You got the wires inside to loosen up and shift so no one of the wires is fucked up causing your screen to look like that. Good job asshole
