Richard Linklater: A Hack or a hack?

Richard Linklater: A Hack or a hack?

I used to be his neighbor. Ask me anything.

both

How rich are your parents?

literally the only noncuck director

A comfilmmaker.

Too bad it's shit

i watched some doc with him and benning and hes a complete mong so

I know this is Sup Forums, but I really mean this: this guy looks like someone's stepfather. I don't know why, but he just LOOKS like the prototypical cuckold. Not memeing here.

How are you?

Richard linklater is literally DUDE WEED LMAO minus the LMAO

Good thing you're wrong.

No wonder why he lost that bean

I really like his older movies but Boyhood is irredeemable shit

>12 years a hack

>Find your true soul mate within a day of meeting and make love with her

>too much of a wuss to keep in touch until both your failed marriages bring you back together 20 years later

Jesus christ Before Sunset was fucking depressing.

...

i hate his movies, every single one of them is unwatchable canceraids

this gave me so many feels

I've never had any connection to someone like that but I can imagine how even if you're swept up in the emotion you both feel like you're so young, there's always time, you want to experience more of the world before settling down, etc. And time just flies away...

>Before Sunset was fucking depressing.
What do you think of Before Midnight?

His movies are not that bad. But he can't direct actors for fuck's sake.

He's made several masterpieces and one really terrible film. I'm talking about Boyhood

Didnt he direct patricia arquette to a best actress oscar?

He's ok

I miss low key, low budget sentimental 90s flicks

>he can't direct actors for fuck's sake.
Care to explain?

Stop answering to such blatant shitposters

A Scanner Darkly and Waking Life are both masterpieces.

Did you ever have dinner with him?

He's unique. His films feel unique, I don't know how to describe it.

Her personality disorder was starting to show in Before Sunset. I expect the next movie to be Jessie at her funeral with flashbacks of events leading up to her suicide.

average middle class shit.

Fine, despite the fact that a wildfire burned down the entire neighborhood and everyone lost their home except Richard in 2011.

Nope. Never had dinner with the average middle class neighbor either.

Why didn't you throw water at it?

A blonde hair blue eyed woman in that movie goes on about how hot Obama is.

Everybody Wants Some is great.
Dazed and Confused is good.
A Scanner Darkly is the best PKD adaptation there is.
School of Rock is the most rewatchable kids movie.

Great trilogy of movies. Very good and natural sounding dialogue.

You're expecting another? I felt like everything was wrapped up well.

Oh please.

what kind of helicopter do you have?

I like most of his movies, but this was a huge disappointment. The problem with casting a child actor 15 years in advance is that you don't how shitty they will become when they get older. It's hard to like a movie when the main character becomes completely unlikeable halfway through. It should have been about his sister instead, she was much more interesting.

The flying kind
