Let Love In

The Firstborn Is Dead

I've only listened to Tender Prey.
What album should I listen now?

the one that has light my fire on it

the first one

Your funeral my trial or from her to eternity.
Not really a big fan of his later albums, felt like he distilled his aesthetic too much and also commercialised his sound a lot.

>tfw listening to his discography is scary
Is he like Zappa that later carreer has a lot of duds or is he still pretty good there?

kekd
from her to eternity is goat NC

He's too consistent to just pick one:
Let Love In
Your Funeral... My Trial
Abattoir Blues / The Lyre of Orpheus
Tender Prey
The Good Son

Your Funeral... My Trial

The Good Son

I CAN'T TELL IF TROLLING OR NOT EITHER WAY ITS FUNNY

skeleton tree

Your Funeral, My Trial

My fav is Tender Prey but I know it's not his best album.

He has a piano ballad heavy period in the late 90s/early 00s which may be hit-or-miss for you, but starting with Abattoir Blues / The Lyre of Orpheus he's released a string of great albums. Push the Sky Away and Skeleton Tree are much more minimal and sonically different than most of his discog, but they're both excellent.

Let Love In. But other than some of his early albums and nocturama he has a very consistent career

this

also the best album of '16 by far

From his dark, post-punkish era
>Your Funeral... My Trial
From his blues punk era
>Henry's Dream
From his piano ballad era
>The Boatman's Call or No More Shall We Part
From his garage-ish rock era
>Abbatoir Blues/Lyre of Orpheus
From his dreamy, minimalistic era
Try both Push the Sky Away and Skeleton Tree

He hasn't really released a bad album, some of them (like Nocturama) just look bad in comparison
