How much of it is going to be in iceland

I hope Paul Walker is back for this. They did really well in Furiously 7 having him in a starring role despite being dead for quite a bit of production

I think it's more of a respect thing at this point, although I imagine they could bring him back

No Phil Hartman/Edna on the Simpsons

Probably not a huge amount.

New York seems to be the main setting.

I'm pretty sure Lucas Black is taking over his position in the team.

Soon, actors will be superfluous. All they need to do in the future is to get a 3D scan and record some samples of their voice. The director then has full creative control over the licensed computer generated characters

Oh wow,
it's weird how much of fan of this franchise I have become over all those years starting with ineterest with the first one
continued with total contempt until accidentally seeing the 6th one
returning to 5th one
and then paying to see the 7th in iMAX.

Is this franchise what STAR WARS could never be, but was always intended to be?

This honestly looks amazing. Look at the camera on that tank! That's a great cinematography right there.

Star Wars is some silly fantasy flick that over uses the Hero's Journey.

Fast and Furious doesn't care about structure, silly prophesies or dumb hero crap. Its all about good action and dialogue good enough to make it comfy at the same time. It also has the benefit of not having a following filled with ass pained nerds. It is not as iconic and shrugged off as silly so feminists will not all of a sudden want a female lead in the movies. But FF will do it before any thought pieces come up and show how a strong female lead is done.

Fast and Furious has entered James Bond level in movie franchises. In 20 years we will get Furious movies but none of the original cast will be in it. It will always get genuinely good directors who are not memes or total hacks. I will put FF 2nd after James bond in terms of movie franchises.

Furious 7 was a better spy movie than MI Rogue Nation and Spectre.

>niggers
DROOOOOOOPPED

Iceland is mostly green though

XD

Chad's favorite movie franchise.

>Scott Eastwood

Wait was Tormund in this movie and I just forgot or never noticed?

Scott and Statham, you are an embarrassment.

He's Charlize Theron's main henchman.

>rock is 6'5

yeah, no

youre right
statham is 5'9" at best and hes about a couple inches more.

He's standing a foot in front of everyone you dingus.

Why?

tormund is in f8? wtf

I hope they keep all the gay sex in the us version and not just the one france gets

Look at their shoes

They announced his casting at the same time as Charlize Theron, so no one really noticed.

I don't like the Tyrone guy. Ludacris is good but the Tyrone guy is obnoxious. I found it really funny that he was campaigning for Green Lantern..

nope, Clints manlet bastard is.

>not liking "It's Roman Bitches"
Maybe in 2F2F where he was shit, but he's been GOAT since

They're not quite at this level yet.

>not in love with Scott

They don't look that bad.

>pocket status: empty

I pity you, cuh

You mean Tyrese? He's alright. Speaking of Ludacris

>So, why would Rule turn down the “Furious” sequel? Singleton said Ja’s success as a rapper may have had something to do with it.

>“He was really big at that time. I guess Murder Inc. was throwing out hits and were making money hand over foot. He was acting like he was too big to be in the sequel,” Singleton added. “He wouldn’t return calls. I went to the studio to go see him…He was kinda playing me to the side and I was like, ‘What? What is this sh-t?’ This was all initiated by me. I then made a call. I called Ludacris.”

>Singleton went on to say that Ludacris was humble, excited and ready to do anything in the film. “That’s how Ludacris got in ’2 Fast 2 Furious’ [as Tej Parker] and the rest is history,” he added.

>Ja had his own reasons. In 2002, he told MTV News that he declined a starring role in the “Furious” sequel because it wasn’t what he wanted out of his film career.

>“Me and Vin [Diesel] talked after he turned it down,” Ja explained. “He hollered at me ’cause they still wanted me to do the film and they bumped up my role as a starring role and everything. And you know, we talked about it. I just felt it wasn’t the best move for me as far as what I want to do in Hollywood right now.”

>Still, Ja’s move ended up helping Ludacris greatly, Singleton explained.

>“Ja Rule not doing ’2 Fast 2 Furious’ changed Ludacris’s life,” Singleton said. “Years later I saw Ja Rule at the Source Awards and we joked about it. I took him under my arm and said, ‘Man, when I call you, you listen. I ain’t calling you for no bullshit.’ He said, ‘Yeah, man, I’m sorry about that.’ He apologized. I love Ja. I still think Ja has a lot of personality and can come back in a different way.”

Don't know.

They've also filmed in Cuba, WUT
youtube.com/watch?v=mZcTMEa7Nlg

Cuba isn't the shit hole the Yanks would have you believe, that shanty town shit you see in BB2 was hilarious

I know Cuba isnt a shit hole, still surprised they can film a movie there.

I wanna go there one day.

disgusting. no matter how many 'action stars' they throw into this garbage dump, it's still gonna be utter trash

So practically Die Another Day 2?
AWESOME
youtube.com/watch?v=3NWihcuU_MI

>All practical effects
FUCKING YES!

This is what more movies should have

The best one in the series. You cannot argue with this.

Although this one looks awesome, sad though Paul wont be in it but I'd be amazed if they somehow have him as a cameo.

>goes to cuba
>comes back
>omg you guys have no idea how bad they live there, they have no soap, no toothbrush, no etc etc etc
Every. Single. Time. If you want to go to Cuba go, but don't become the typical post-Cuba tourist. Also comunism is a lie.

>Also comunism is a lie.

Liberty Prime pls

>Its all about good action and dialogue good enough to make it comfy at the same time.

Yeah just like the Transformers movies. Screw story and character development, give us fast cars, explosions and hot chicks.

>Fast and Furious doesn't care about structure,

So you're outright admitting it sucks? Can you not even shill your movie franchise properly?

>Fast and Furious has entered James Bond level in movie franchises.

That isn't saying much since Connery was the sole reason any of those movies were watchable to begin with.

There's an entire movie about that:

youtube.com/watch?v=1rNSTizOsws

>thinking you're too famous for a role in a huge blockbuster

that's a new one

Wouldn't it be called greenland then?

Wasn't that the trick, they called the green land Iceland so no one wanted to go there

At leat Ja Rule did that movie with Steven Seagal that really did wonders for his career.

Might be. Isn't Greenland mostly ice btw?

I don't even care that much anymore, I just wish they'd go back to the street racing genre which is what made 1 so good.
