Went to go see them at the Palladium

Replace IR for AMSP and you have my personal radiohead top4

...

...

assuming you haven't heard it before

best way I can put it is: basically radiohead but from 12 feet away.

I love Radiohead, Tago Mago and Future Days, but never really liked this one, maybe im not paying enough attention, what's so good about it?

...

...

a masterpiece that doesn't get enough recognition

Sup Forums tends not to like this album in general I thought it was maybe a patrician meme because its their most popular but I listened to it at the right place at the right time really and it got me. Don't get me wrong though I love Tago Mago just as much really

pretty lame desu

...

i swear to god i can't figure this album out, what is so mesmerizing about this

...

W H Y D O Y O U A S K ? ? ?

The best pop-punk album ever made.
(not that that's saying much but still its a real good album)

IMO it's special because every song has at least one 10/10 moment. The melodies are insanely catchy and emotional, every song can get stuck in your head. I can't put into words how this album makes me feel, but it works in any mood and any situation. I've probably listened close to 100 times and it's still not old for me. I've had happy times to this album, shed tears to it, had sex to it, felt beauty to it, since I discovered it as a junior in high school it has really soundtracked my life. There is something magical and nostalgic and universal about the music on this album that is very special. I don't know, I'm not very good at describing it but I'm trying to give an honest answer.

Escape The Fate - Dying Is Your Latest Fashion.

Mid 2000 post hardcore album with a variety of sounds. Some poppier kind of stuff, some heavy stuff.

Better version for ya' bud.

Jake chudnow - Rainstorms and Rainbows EP

;)

good pick, my dude

I agree with this. It's most definitely a 10/10 album for me. If such a thing exists, this is it.

It packs a punch thanks to great drumming and lead guitar throughout, hits hard with some fantastic riffs and heavy moments, but also mixes them with melancholic ones like Lady Stardust. As you said already, the melodies are absolutely superb, and the vocal performances are nothing short of stunning. From the gut-wrenching screams in the Five Years crescendo, to the colourful backing vocals in Star, to "you're not alone", Bowie's voice has just never been better than on this record.

Colourful is a good word to describe it with, actually. It just has so much personality that even his other superb albums during that 70s streak lack in comparison. The atmosphere is so encapsulating for me from the very first lines of Five Years, truly a lesson in opening an album. And what more can be said about the album's ending? Near perfection. The pacing of the whole thing is excellent, too. So much energy in one album.

I can never decide between this and Station To Station for his best work. I feel like Ziggy is probably stronger as a whole, but man that title track on STS is just marvellous. His peak for sure.

I second this. One of the most underrated bands of all time imo.

Nigger, what? Some people putting it below FD and TM doesn't mean it's not loved.

Love the production on this. Definitely check it out if you're into hip hop

exordiummusic.bandcamp.com/album/beneath-the-toxic-jungle

I'm not into hip hop as I find it boring most of the time but I love this album. Something similar?

Other stuff by rav and kill Bill on the exo bandcamp. Not sure of any other artists that sound similar though, sorry

Not for plebs

Every time i listen to this it gets stuck in my head and i can't enjoy anything else for a week.

Please OP.

Diamond Dogs isnt even top 5 Bowie Albums. Its good but i cant see how its remotely better than Ziggy, Station, Heroes, Blackstar
