i've been big into exploring the 160 realm of late, since there's been some interesting developments in the fusion of drum and bass/jungle/footwork/juke with elements of grime, baile funk etc. etc.
I'm looking to get back into more of the 115 - 135 realm. Have there been any interesting developments of late? And don't give me some DJ Boring lo-fi house bullshit. That sound was rinsed by L.I.E.S. five years ago.

this reminds me: grime is, of course, heavily influenced by dancehall/soundsystem culture because many of the MCs/DJs/etc within the genre are either Caribbean immigrants or the children of Caribbean immigrants. but the scene also has many artists who come from a West African background. so how many grime tunes are there with influences or samples from afrobeat/highlife/other genres form Ghana or Nigeria?
Skepta did Sweet Mother, and Elf Kid recently released Reload That, but that's all I can think of, off the top of my head.
