no.

On her majesty's secret service
>inb4 muh one hit bond

Why?

Definitely up there. I think From Russia With Love might be the best.

Got a lot of time for the Dalton movies as well.

just kidding, they are and Skyfall too.

Probably not, you just remember Goldeneye fondly because you're an insufferable le 90s kid who worships the video game, and because Casino Royale revitalized the franchise and was so much better than the previous couple of movies.

I'd be lying if I said those weren't my two favorite though.

Goldeneye was good but Casino Royale i thought was much better

>craig
>bond

youre not me!
because others are better

Goldeneye was great. When Bond drives that tank through the wall and the theme kicks in...fucking joyful cinema.

Yes.

Casino Royale because of the intro alone.

>Cast as the fictional British secret agent James Bond in October 2005, his first film in the role, Casino Royale, was released internationally in November 2006.

en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Daniel_Craig

Even without the tank scene it's one of the best bond movies.

No.

Dr No and OHMSS were.

GoldenEye has aged really well.

shut the door alec theres a draft

ALEC?

Skyfall has too many plot holes and a ridiculous home alone ending

> For England James?

>brosnan and craig
>best
>good

Goldfinger > FRWL > Dr Meme > Casino Royale > Goldeneye > You Only Live Twice

Connery and Craig are the only good Bonds. Brosnan had potential but his films sucked

ah the "home alone" meme.

>Bond movie
>plot holes

Gee what a surprise!

>Connery and Dalton are the only good Bonds.
FTFY

>Dalton and Moore are the only good Bonds
FTFY

Kill yourself

GoldenEye is one of the best, Casino Royale is overrated trash

The best Bond film is From Russia with Love, personal favorite though is Licence to Kill

>Connery and Dalton the best
Correct

>overrated trash

>not loving Dalton
kys

No, for you

QoS is criminally underrated 2bh

>No one has mentioned the truest Bond-kino

>reminder plebs will never realize that the books are dark and serious stories and not light-hearted
>reminder plebs only want ""fun"" bond with stupid over-the-top gadgets that Reddit would probably come up with
>reminder that plebs will never realize how Craig captured the tone of the books fantastically, especially Casino Royale

What makes Casino and GoldenEye so good is that it isnt action scene after action scene as what QoS was.

It has a slowish second act yes but we get lots of character development and a rich plot

Fucking this

Casino Royale was honestly the best Bond film since the Connery era

t. pleb

From Russia with Love is undoubtedly the greatest 007 movie. If you contest this you are a giant fucking pleb.

It has the perfect combination of good dialogue, location, it's one of the few bond films that actually deals with espionage, and it has great action scenes that aren't over the top like GoldFinger was.

It was basically real James Bond before he became a huge action movie hero with Goldfinger. I still like Goldfinger but From Russia is still the GOAT.

It's decent, has its moments. Definitely better than Octopussy

he's probably just mad his bond isn't """"fun"""" anymore. ignore the redditors.

I know it is.

youtu.be/z7kFoR4m1Y0

>film franchise spanning half a century with 20 films
>beloved character defined by connery and moore

B-but muh serious books!

>literally no climax
>film just ends

Why do people say this is the best? Are they just being contrarian for the sake of it?

Casino Royale is the only movie that follows one of the books page by page yes but all of us oldfags grew up with the gadget error.

THAT is the past that we know and will always be remembered as the golden era. But Craig's Bond is still cool.

why are craigfags so obnoxious?

>someone mentions that don't like Casino Royale or Skyfall
>REDDIT
>PLEB
>LE BORN IN THE WRONG GENERATION
all of you, kill yourselves

My top 5 no doubt

After Austin Powers and Die Another Day, change was necessary.

Not even close.
Goldfinger is my favorite.

>2006 was 100 years ago

Kms

I still own the cassette soundtrack

I tried watching The Spy Who Loved Me the other day and had to give up on it. It was just the same shit over and over: Bond goes to meet guy, guy is about to be murdered/ has been murdered / hired someone to murder him, action sequence ending with shitty one-liner, repeat from step one.

>9/11 was 15 years ago

Was she the most beautiful Bond girl?

the soundtrack was easily the best

I have the movie on 4 different formats.
God I'm old.

They're less obnoxious than the petty Bond "experts" that somehow feel like they think they know what Bond should drink or how much chest hair he has.

archive.4plebs.org/tv/search/filename/bond girls laughing/

autism.

I think it's okay, but the pacing is pretty bad and Barbara Bach can't act worth a shit, her "Russian" accent comes and goes too

Even so, it sounds like you just don't enjoy the Bond formula, for which I pity you

I like Lea a bit more but Olga still was top-tier.

Gemma was also great.

That's entirely possible. I've been trying to get into the series, and I really did like Dr. No, but maybe that was just a one-off deal.

I have nothing against action sequences and cheesy zingers, but when your entire film is nothing but that (or at least, the first hour since I can't vouch for the second half) it just gets trite.

>They're less obnoxious than the petty Bond "experts" that somehow feel like they think they know what Bond should drink or how much chest hair he has.
How so? Anything is better than craigfags who sperg out whenever anyone has an opinion that differs from their own

inb4
>oh you like quipfests maybe Marvel movies are more your speed lol XD

The only correct answer

You know when you think about it, little more than a third of the Bond films are actually worth watching.

>From Russia With Love
>Goldfinger
>You Only Live Twice
>On Her Majesty's Secret Service
>Living Daylights
>License To Kill
>Goldeneye
>Casino Royale
>Skyfall

The rest are forgettable fluff, like say Tomorrow Never Dies, or outright crap like the entire Moore era.

>youtube.com/watch?v=_CbFAZ2ztlE

Best Bond theme coming through.

>doesn't include Dr No

Otherwise solid list

Enough with this shit, they're all worth watching at least once if you like James Bond

Craigfags are gonna fag...

MOONRAKER ASSHOLE !

Moonraker is objectively the worst film in the franchise.

James Bond should never be in space.

Roger Moore's best IMO. Incredibly dumb in many ways, but also one hell of a roller coaster ride and infinitely rewatchable. Not to mention that Hugo Drax is a god-tier villain

>James Bond should never be in space.

But user, what if they're still making 007 movies when space travel is commonplace?

Eventually it would start to get weird that he WASN'T in space.

Why do people act like he spends the entire movie in space? Have these individuals actually watched the film?

archive.4plebs.org/tv/search/filename/bond girls laughing/

...

You have to be mentally ill to repost that over and over and over and over

Only Bond movies worth watching:

Dr. No
From Russia With Love
Goldfinger

On Her Majesty's Secret Service

The Living Daylights
License To Kill

GoldenEye
Tomorrow Never Dies
The World Is Not Enough

Casino Royale
Quantum of Solace
Skyfall
Spectre

First rule of space battles should be that each side has different colored lasers.

Dedication only a true fan would show.

>he doesn't like Brosnan

laughingbondgirls.flac

I like that scene, it's actually a funny parody of the underwater battle from Thunderball

Yes. Why the fuck are you defending it?

Not a big bond fan, but goldeneye is probably my favorite.
Some of the old ones are quite good from what I remember. All the new ones suck ass. Just doesn't feel like bond movies.

TWINE, Quantum and Spectre are objectively bad movies.

90s kid pls

It just isn't the same without the sounds.

>PEW PEW PEW
>HNNGG ARGH

Because I like it. Moonraker is actually a far better Bond spoof than any of the Austin Powers movies, works because its mostly unintentional

>Quantum of Solace
>Skyfall
>Spectre

Those aren't worth watching at all. Especially spectre, wtf is wrong with you.

Quantum is only okay.

They are. You may not like them, but they are well made films and are not complete dogshit like a lot of the this franchise's films are (A View to a Kill, Die Another Day, etc).

Skyfall was ok

Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace are the worst Bond movies.

I wish the craigfag autists only posted a bit of greentext with an image, it would make them far less annoying

is Spectre that bad? I just downloaded it

>A View to a Kill
>dogshit

opinion filed under "trash"

...

Skyfall is great, eat a dick

Fantastic Cinematography, weak story.

If you have a short attention span you'll be bored. But that's the movie's fault.

Cinematography alone is what makes it worth it. It's also rather funny.

7/10 for me. Skyfall was much better.

I enjoyed die another day better than skyfall, because it actually feels like a bond movie.

ok. Enjoy the "silly" and "over-the-top" bond that Ian Fleming would be disgusted by.

yes

The costume design in Skyfall was /fa/ as fuck

Spectre might actually be the worst bond movie ever made. It tries to reintroduce older, campy villains, but does this completely straight-faced. Waltz was completely miscast and wasted on this movie. The plot is extremely boring "dangers of the digital age" dreck.

Die Another Day was much worse.
