i've heard this track before, and i wouldn't call it gem when it has over 9 million views and has probably been played twice as much on the radio worldwide. it describes the problem i have with edm, it's very bland. this song could've easily been 30 seconds because after that it just repeats itself all over again.

there's far more interesting electronic music and electronic dance music out there than the "EDM" shite that Americans eat up.
It's so cute. After creating house and techno in the 80s and rejecting it for being too black and gay for years, they finally have come around to this stuff in its most regurgitated, commercialized eurotrash deviation and started taking MDMA (or "pop a molly dude xD" as you say) and think they just discovered dance music and rave culture.

if what youre saying is objective truth than idk why i like it so much. porter is my favorite artist and although that song is one of his most "generic and repetitive" tracks, i still look deeper into it and try to find a meaning. its my favorite song because i really like the lyrics and the use of a vocaloid

i'm a big fan of electronic music so i've pretty much listened to every electronic genre there is and EDM easily takes the place as the most generic bland braindead music i've every heard. and it's no wonder why it's played 24/7 on the radio, it acts perfectly as just background noise, you dont actually need to listen to it because you already know what it sounds like.

Look I get that you're young and so a bit insecure, that's normal, but there's really no need to be so spiky. Don't let other people's judgements get to you. In the same vein, you shouldn't attack or judge others sinply because they don't share the same taste as you. It's not fair to them and it does yourself a disservice.
