Who hype here?

Who hype here?

Before this thread delves into fun hating faggots that are so jaded and detached they can't enjoy a simple movie; me. So freaking much dude. I was hyped the moment I heard this was getting a sequel.
>inb5 muh queen
>muh "generic" trailer
Kill yourself. Destruction porn is literally the only saving grace left in Hollywood.

I bet your IQ is 55.

WHAT WILL BECOME OF MY DAVID?!?!

Fucking pass.

I bet yours is below 55

Honestly, why?

I think most people enjoyed Independence Day for what it was, but it was just a blockbuster destruction porn 90s flick, a sequel in modern day just feels wrong.

>never really bothered to look at the poster before
>suddenly realize Independence Day released 20 years ago

Fuck I'm old

Independence Day, Starship Troopers, Armageddon and the like were ALL shitty movies when you break it down; Stupid Summer fare nonsense with as much depth as a wading pool.

Current day Hollywood is a fucking paint-by-numbers joke.

I hope it bombs so emmerich isn't allowed to fuck up stargate

>Independence Day 2
>not released July 4th
It's a flop

>July 4th is when independence day happened

Question!

Should the release date be the 5th or the 8th?

They were B movies with big name stars and a budget.

At least that was novel in the 90's.

Me too fellow SGbro, me too.

Who Shill here?

>rewatch Independance day
>actual interesting characters
>special effects done well

It's kino compared to modern blockbusters. Even just simple things like using real cars instead of CGI everywhere makes it better.

Screw you I'll shill for independence day for free all I want. I'm gonna see that shit 5 times and all the hate I see here is just gonna make me love it more

not really. i'll watch it when it comes out, but whatever whenever, no hype.

I hope that in the movie they really play up the fact that human technology is so much more advanced because it was taken from the aliens. It wouldn't be as interesting if the level of technology is basically the same except for military stuff.

>one of the most murrican movies ever was directed by a german

Also, has anyone seen Stonewall? How was it?

The sjw's got it right for once, making the main character a white boy from small town america was an incredibly tone-deaf move. The actor wasn't bad but there were several supporting characters that were more interesting and well acted.

PISS?
NO PISS

why do americans think their opinion matters so much? yeah we get it, you're imperialists, but please calm down

it was pretty terrible

and apparently it was a big deal
