Negativland has a great discography.
I enjoyed the two previews (and the two from your YouTube) on your next release. I'll look out for its release day.
Oh and of course not, I love Jay Dee.

nice jazzy shit. i like the independence of the parts, it's almost like a loose dixieland.
my only critique is that the horn signals are clipping a little and distorting.
unless you're going for that NMH sound
>antik.bandcamp.com
totally digging this! i love the lo-fi processing. also your page design is very pretty. are you really in slovenia? i'm a big laibach fan....
That's a tall promise friend, definitely try putting reverb or subtle low pass filters on that digital piano to make it sound a bit more real.
>daremr.bandcamp.com
Hey listen to this one ANTIK
if i were a promoter, i'd put you two on the same bill. too bad one of you is in mexico and the other slovenia.
nice minimalist feel to it....
bro I've told you before I like it. I sing gorgeous girls to myself sometimes
well the board i used is from 2002 so those sampled sounds are *old* at this point. just bought a new yamaha p255 so hopefully new recordings will be more "realistic"
Really, low pass filters make all the difference. Even the ableton live grand piano sounds great with the high frequencies chopped off.
This is above average when it comes to bandcamp instrumental hip hop, those samples are impeccably well placed. Nice work.
thanks, dling escape from noise now
and i realized it sounded harsh after i posted it haha
thank you though, i appreciate it
hey
This is really great!
Your sample choices prove a hip-hop mastery!
Honestly (even with Dilla) I tend to like the poppiest sounding stuff, so:
Pyramid, Whoopee, Too Much (Love), end of Robot No Sin, are my standouts.
But I can tell that a lot of work went into this and there is excellent nuance to the abstract stuff too. When it comes to all that, I gotta say your music does ‘abstract’ more musically than most people.
Songs #13-15 Wild Dreams to Liase (ALEX JONES LOL) to Biomimetic is a solid combo!!
Other good stuff:
Vibe is a great sample
Uncanny (Synth Emote)
Soil (Return) also cool sample…the time signature change here is why I noted it. Was fun to hear.
rec'ed to anyone else in the thread
embarrassing and really shitty punk band I was in in high school
We're not too great, but we play kind of Fuzzpop for fun?
We've got one song out from our EP thats coming out in a few weeks.
>Fuzzpop, Pastel Trash, Birmingham AL
Thanks a bunch for listening, means a lot. Glad you enjoyed it.
witnessed:
Great vibes forever
No rapper is worthy to rap over these beats
doggo
quality post-punk
A bit grotesque, it has a strong indie rock vibe to it. I loved it.

I went from ‘hey this is pretty good’ to ‘hey this is COOOOOOL’ when that loud lead did the glissando on the first song.
Hard to tell the influences here (a good thing).
But the whole album is awesome.
The micropup/doggomusic vibe seems to drive a lot of the production choices, BUT these songs would be good with any production/instrumentation. ‘Small Piano’ proves that. Damn dude. U got melody skill out the wazoo.
This is probably a reach but I’ll say…Virginia Astley? Have you ever listened to her? She did a second electronic album after that ambient one that gets shared in here all the time. It’s called ‘Hope in a Darkened Heart’ but some of this seems like an American version of her…honestly, though this is better hahah. Something about y’all’s lyrical/vocal approach feels similar to me. Definitely in content.
also from what i've heard of BMX bandits/The Pastels. BUT AGAIN...you are a way better musician than these people.
But yea. I mean. This is niche in a way that everyone can enjoy. ‘Small Virtues’ is so fucking good dude.
Thanks, its especially nice to get some compliments for my melodies finally.
I haven't heard of Virginia or any of those people, i'll check them out. The big influences are Casiotone for the Painfully Alone and the photo I used as the album cover.

This is very good, you should get someone to produce for you for the length of a whole album.

You should add some vocals to your work. Most of the songs sound the same with nothing to differentiate them. But you've got a good, clear sound on all your tracks, so you've got that going for ya. Keep it up my man

not a huge fan of rap, but I really liked this. cool atmospheric instrumental, and well put together. was not expecting a 15 minute rap track!
Cool trippy shit, took some time to get into, but it was pretty damn cool
I recc'd this last night in another thread, I like how small everything is. Cute music, well made, nice tunes
heavy. yeeee.
Also recc'd this in another thread, cool chill shit.
I got like 20 seconds into this and love it. The piano riffs are imaginative, and it all flows really nice. punk-piano is best piano
ooh I like this. Kool with a kapital K, really fun stuff.
I like this, weirdly catchy but it still has that harsh edge. Noice.
As a matter of fact someone once asked me if he could use my acoustic cover of a Burzum track to make a trip hop beat (back when I just started uploading music to Bandcamp)
