Cool

Cool.

cool

nice

Shit, hivemind.

cool

This is for the Hallelujah Money video because this fucking retard can't give context

Fuck I hope you swing from a rope.

Really makes you think.

Check'd senpai

>because this fucking retard can't give context
as if it needed to be said

pretty obvs, buddy

>projecting this hard

Maybe it was obvious to autistic gorrilatard redditors like yourselves.

Don't include me in that

...

I was a little confused by the verse where Damon kept repeating "fuck Trump and fuck white people" over and over again, but he's always been kinda out there.

trumpeteers getting rattled hard by this song, they won't admit it but that song made them all kinds of uncomfortable in the best way possible.

cool

What did he mean by this?

he can't understand how hillary didn't win

>""""art"""""

>Fuck I hope you swing from a rope.
I mean that would be pretty fun.

Swinging like Tarzan

This isn't even that bad of a backlash
And the track itself is good. The issue is the singer's style doesn't mesh with it.

Also, the video is blatantly last second, thrown together garbage to capitalize on a historic moment.

I like it a lot, especially the hook. I don't understand why it's getting so much hate honestly. It's not as "experimental" as people are claiming at least not any more so than most Gorillaz track and it's not so ridiculously political that it detracts from the enjoyment of the song.

It's flat out not that great of a song, but also it just goes to show yet again that people will complain about an artist not making music, and the minute they do they get upset about it because it doesn't sound like the popular hits. But regardless of that, I honestly don't care for this song that much but it's something rather then nothing.

It's not experimental. It's bullshit.

I like the song. And I like laughing at all the Sup Forumstards

This.
It's not even going to be on an album (similar to 911), but the video was obviously last minute and any empowerment they're trying to give with it is immediately lost with *SpongeBob* at the end, of all things.

IMO, the song itself feels like a weird mesh, but I can understand the appeal of how it sounds.

It kinda sucks that the first impression a lot of Gorillaz we're getting after 5-6 years is heavy in-your-face political commentary at a time when that's what's currently dividing us most, though. Gorillaz has always been political, of course, I'm not gonna say they weren't, but even Dirty Harry felt less blatant about it.

or maybe most people aren't retarded like you are

it looks as if it was actually filmed in the Trump tower. Also that spongebob scene is his reaction to hearing the words "you're fired". This video is dope as fuck.

Wait this song isn't gonna be on the album? So it's just a single?

Better than new Arcade Fire song at least

Yeah it's probably just like Rockit before Demon Days. They released it months before the album, people got pissed, but it wasnt on the album.

Arcade Fire released a new song? I thought that was just a Gold Digger remix.

Yea, I don't remember which article I read that stated it wouldn't be on it (I read a few of them earlier) but from what I gathered it was confirmed it'd only be a single.

Oh, why were people pissed about Rockit? Forgive me, I wasn't into Gorillaz very much back then.

>blah blah blah

>not following a shitty band for redditors
>it must mean I'm retarded

C O L L A P S E

Oh, of course.

My bad.

Wait, I apparently might have lied to you, user.
Someone asked for a lyric from the album mid-late last year and Damon had answered with "hallelujah money."
I figured I should correct myself instead of being a jackass and leaving it.

I liked it. Not the best song they've released but it's not bad.

>tfw laughing at both sides who insist it's either shit or a perfect masterpiece

what is it OP

It's fine. I'd like to forget that song exists too. But even as bad as that song was, Demon Days turned out to be a great album imo. I kinda like Hallelujah Money, but it's weird af and I understand the hate for it. Hopefully history repeats itself

He was listening to Tool

I'm going to sound stupid but I watched the video and it just seemed pretty abstract and non-specific, where are the obvious current events references that people are upset about?

Lad

Absolutely love how it's pissing off people. Song was pretty good in my opinion.
