I'm looking for any worthwhile electronic arists/albums from this decade. I tried to find a list but Sup Forums only made for the previous decades. I already listened to some essentials like Arca, Jon Hopkins, Flying Lotus, Oneohtrix Point Never but I need more.

stop

everything on
Pan records
NON
Hyperdub
Tri Angle

stop what? is that an artist name? pretty weird but tell me more

Thanks, I will look into that.

For tri Angle start with Brood Ma - Daze, really liked that album

I'd also suggest something like
Anna Meredith - Varmints
Bon Iver - 22, a million
Four Tet - There is love In you
Rustie - EVENIFUDONTBELIEVE
Laurie Spiegel - The expanding Universe
Steve Roach - Structures From silenece

Just a selection of different electronic artists in different genres, the last two are more ambient electronic

Going off of NON, the head of that collective is Chino Amobi he does some pretty cool stuff

Pic has some of my favorite post-2000s electronic releases in various genres. Some well known stuff, some not as well known. Feel free to check out stuff/ridicule, guys.

>Bon Iver - 22
I only look for the electronic artists, Bon Iver is kinda that band who mixes everything. That's why I always get irritated when I see Kid A in the top lists because yeah it has some of the electronic stuff but it's mainly still a rock album.
Will look into the others thanks.

Yarahiro Green

Kid A has crazy electronic effects on every track though, with almost every one having a minimalist song structure as well. The only track that's close to rock on it is Morning Bell...

essential listening

I'm not saying I don't love that album, is just that I'm not looking for that, especially bands that have cornerstone in rock.
thanks , I will look into that.

>spoonfeeding

>Gudrun Gut
>Atom tm
>Alva Noto
Why does Germany make the best electronic stuff?

heck off

L I E S Records

Autechre, The Aphex twins, Lil Shoenberg

All Grimes albums. They're pure gold.

highly developed tech industry, high iq population, autism

This album is hella under rated. Its very short but the production is great

Radiohead started off in rock, but Kid A has its foundation to the kind of IDM/Ambient Techno that Aphex Twin did on SAW 85-92

anything by Clark, particularly pic related
three IDM-esque tracks + an ambient interlude != having its foundation on IDM

recent favorites

Ambient style instrumentals with minimalism inspired beats = having its foundation in that 90s style IDM. The only difference is that Morning Bell doesn't exactly fit that, and that there's singing on Kid A.

Grimes - Visions
Perturbator - Dangerous Days
The Juan Maclean - In A Dream
