Sweden
obesity
Scotland & N. Ireland. On the continent it's France & Germany.
Nobody.
India, undoubtly
russia
i would say finland or america. since the only sport the average canadian cares about is hockey, and those two countries have the talent to beat us
Denmark
Scotland and Northern Ireland are also European countries
Germany, too.
...
tbqh the Soviet Union and East Germany are still more competent rivals to the USA than any other nation today
I don't know how it is to fuck chubbies with a small dick, but it definitey works without a problem
It is mutual
>2-2 spaghettis out
>N. Ireland
>Soviet Union and East Germany
theres not really a difference
indeed
because you don't compete in internationally relevant sports and are completely secluded from the rest of the world
i would kill myself if i was american deesu fampay
Always want to beat France, Germany.
Friendly rivalry with other Anglo nations.
Mexico.
Is Sweden bad now?
there is on the medal count :^)
ourselves
I think 95% of germans agree when I say our biggest rival are the Canada and New Zealand. Always been like this.
Depends on the sport really. It's a bit sad, we don't have a clear arch rival no matter the sport like some countries do.
Check it early and often, Hans.
I don't think we have one, we're too bad at soccer and too good at everything else.
>completely secluded from the rest of the world
the world isn't just sports. I would say America is not secluded enough from the rest of the world.
Fucking Chimpanzilians
?
Divegrass is a women's sport, and we typically field a very competitive team. Is something being lost in translation?
USA
It used to be Russia because of hockey but that rivalry is extremely one sided in Canada's favor now
We're separated from the rest of civilization (excluding Canada) by two oceans.
you're decent, but not in our league. Only the top 5 countries are ever mentioned.
>Canada
>USA
>Russia
>Finland
>Sweden
>those dub dubs
chek'd
Sweet Norn Iron.
> Fuckin' harden yee led.
>Divegrass is a women's sport
said no one ever
we are arch rivals in Korfball, Waterpolo and Handball
not trying to come off rude but I hope your mother dies for the comment you just wrote, you asshole
Finland above Russia at the moment, if this is supposed to be in order
Why?
What sports are you referring to?
We play hockey? I thought everyone in the NHL was either from Canada or Minnesota (aka south canada).
hahahahahahahahaha. no
nowhere near as good as they were 10 years ago
Netherlands or New Zealand.
Check the IIHF once in awhile.
Good job on moving up 3 spots, you're still #10
iihf.com
baseball: japan
basketball: no one
hockey: canada
soccer: mexico
in general: russia
We don't have a clear rival across sports the way that other countries do. But China and Britain usually finish just behind us in the medal table so I guess it's one of them.
Korfball, Rangeln and Plinsenbacken
Depends what sport. For us it's USA in everything
FUCK CHINA
>The country known for their women and sewage
Soccer sounds about right for you.
football: commercials
>divegrass is a women's sport
hahahaha quite the opposite my friend. women football is a joke.
You have players like woman-beater kane and TJ ochie
too bad that most of our good players are hidden and we dont show them to the world, we are second best after canada.
our arch rivals are grenada and nigeria, btw
>baseball: japan
You can't really say that we have an international rival in baseball when nobody here takes international baseball seriously. Maybe when we start sending actual all-star teams to the World Baseball Classic, and even then our rival would be Cuba, Venezuela, or the Dominican Republic.
Ourselves. Now give me the sauce
because one is a small part of a not even that big country whereas the other is the biggest country in the world + a bunch of other countries
1) Brazil
2) England
power gap
3) Uruguay
4) Germany
Maybe in women's curling.
what the fuck are you even talking about
am i being baited
>for us it's USA in everything
That's kind of an odd thought, I don't think we really see you as a rival in anything. I think of the Canadians as being on "our side", I even root for you guys during the Olympics.
French here, it depend of the sport
In rugby we like to say there is a rivalry between England and us but they are too superior now
In football it's Germany, but they've always been too dominant, Brasil maybe.
In basketball I would say Spain, but their golden generation was better than our.
French people aren't enough involved into sport anyway
Canada
India
IIHF men's world ranking
>Canada
>Russia
>Finland
>USA
>Sweden
>iihf.com
It's literally only in hockey, no idea what he's on about
>am i being baited
Obviously. Americans really do consider soccer to be a woman's sport though
Chile
Fucking what? I-I like you guys
CHICANOS
>In football it's Germany, but they've always been too dominant,
>lost last 2 important matches vs Spain
It is India for Germany
U.S.A.
Show's how dumb they are.
I'm thinking more in little league since the finals are usually japan vs. usa
Olympics and additional WBC's should give international play more juice
Its more of just a friendly rivalry though. Usa Canada hockey is always a huge deal and probably the biggest sporting event here.
Both are the best countries in icehockey, we having the slight edge because we won the last 4 world cups and have the bigger talent pool, but you are good, too
>Americans really do consider soccer to be a woman's sport though
And you say we're dumb.
But i'm French Germanbro
New Zealand, probably
Mexico, Peru or New Zealand
Gridiron, rugby, Gaelic, and Aussie rules are men's football sports. The only men playing soccer are just rejects from the diving team.
Hm, I really don't believe either is more talenten than the US, but maybe that's my bias showing
England or Ireland.
It's just how the sport ended up developing here. Soccer is a sport without a ton of heavy contact like football or hockey so it's a bit more "ladylike", and guys like Ronaldo and Neymar reinforce the notion that soccer as a whole is kind of effeminate. Soccer is also separate from American sports culture, so girls can participate in it without being seen as overly masculine. And when you consider that our women's team is very successful and inspired a lot of young girls to play the sport, it's really not surprising that soccer is viewed as a women's sport in the US.
The world. We are the measuring stick in athletic greatness moreso than any other country
yup, obv. bias, your team is good but definitely far away from Germany and Canada
-
our archrival is India
>in rugby
England, although it's been pretty one-sided recently
Some say Italy, in the fight for supremacy over latin rugby. that one is completely one-sided.
Some say New Zealand because we did unexpectedly beat them a couple times, which everybody brings up any time there is a FR v NZ
>football
Germany
Brazil
Italy to some extent
>overall
UK, in spots and in pretty much everything.
irrelevant, there is no such thing as distance when it comes to media. our media is incredibly pervasive in foreign countries.
Futbol: germany
Hockey: Netherlands
But when you know the huge gap of level between women's football (soccer) and men's football it's kind of disturbing
dont think thats a good idea. you would probably lose every match against a world selection except for american football and swimming, even basketball would be a win for the world
>Hockey: Netherlands
just no
>Some say Italy, in the fight for the wooden spoon
Argentinians play hockey.....?
Kek don't be so assblasted. It's just the way our sporting culture came about.
Our women's team is relatively good (relatively, because women's soccer is complete shit) because it's the most popular women sport by far.
croatia
+hungary in waterpolo
Not real hockey, they play the faggy grass version.
(You)
Brazil.
Boxing: Mexico
Baseball, Volleyball: Dominican Republic
